"No Emilia today?" Maya asked as she joined Nathaniel and his brother Ezra for lunch.
"She seemed like she had plans," Ezra shrugged.
"Plans?" Maya asked with a raised eyebrow.
Nathaniel chuckled and shook his head, "Jay, without fail, asks Emilia to go to lunch with him, I think he has a crush on our sister."
"Oh he defiantly does," Ezra chuckled. "I just hope she actually gives him a chance."
Maya raised an eyebrow at Ezra, confused by the younger man's reaction.
"What? Don't you think I can be happy for my twin?" he said, crossing his arms on his chest.
Maya sighed and shook her head. Of course, Ezra would want to see his twin happy, it wasn't that fact that bothered her.
"I thought you wouldn't want her giving Jay a chance," Maya confessed. "Max is a family friend and if I'm not mistaken Nate's best friend, isn't he?"
