"He does," Emilia confessed.
"But?" Maya tilted her head. "I'm sensing a but."
"His butt isn't hot enough?" Emilia chuckled awkwardly while Maya grimaced.
"You De La Rues should never be comedians," Maya pointed out, making Emilia laugh.
Emilia sighed and frowned, "I feel like I can be happier, but at the same time no one has cared about me as much as he has."
"What do you mean?" Maya was surprised by this.
"He's been going out of his way to wait for me so we can go home together, he's constantly checking if I've had lunch or dinner, and he has somehow managed to find out how I take my coffee and brings me a cup of my favorite one every morning," Emilia was blushing as she confessed her interaction with Jay Woods.
But as Maya studied her, there was still something wrong.
Most women would be happy if a man cared about them this way, especially a man like Jay.
