"Consider it," Nathaniel told Jay as he emptied the glass before him and stood up.
He led his friend toward the door to let him out.
"Arlington is important to me," Nathaniel said in a somber tone.
"I know, I definitely know that," Jay grumbled. "But yes, I'll think about it."
Nathaniel smiled and nodded at his friend, "Thank you, I'll see you later."
Jay grunted a response before finally dipping out of the room to help arrange the board room for Nathaniel's purpose.
Looking back at his desk, Nathaniel sighed, and walked back to face the mountain of work that waited him.
Since the trial, things seemed to pick up again for DLR Enterprises and everyone had turned their attention back to work. This had actually worried Nathaniel, it was also one of the reasons why Nathaniel needed everyone to be wary.
If he couldn't put Clark and Ezra to help Emilia and Max, everyone needed to be vigilant and careful.
