It had taken them weeks to plan and scout, but finally, they were here sneaking out the back door of Minesview Malls and Resorts.
"There," Katlin said as she pointed to an unassuming car that was parked in the back of the mall, a place where most patrons wouldn't visit.
Caroline Miller was cousins with the owner of the mall and had arranged for this car to be placed here days in advance.
Katlin quickly took the driver's seat while Maya sat up front.
"You sure you don't want me there?" Emilia asked as she held the door open for her mother.
"No, it's fine Emilia," Maya said with a smile. "We're just friends off to check out a piece of property that I want to purchase."
"Alright," Emilia didn't push, she knew better than to argue with Maya when time was of the essence.
"Thirty minutes, that's all we have," Katlin reminded the women in the car.
