Maya held Nathaniel's hand tightly as she tried to say she was there with him, that she would always be there with him.
The expression on Nathaniel's face was much colder than normal. Maya could see the fear in the reporter's eyes as they came face to face with someone known to be relentless and unforgiving in his field of work.
A smirk formed on Nathaniel's lips, making Maya blush.
She couldn't help but think about how dangerously handsome he was.
As she turned to face the crowd, she noted how many of the female and some male reporters were smiling and blushing as well.
"Say something," she whispered to him, finding it a little awkward that people were just staring.
Normally everyone would have their phones and cameras out, ready to snap photos but today everyone was just looking at them, at the once mysterious couple that now stood before them.
