Nathaniel raised his hand and gestured for Clark to inspect the documents.
He wouldn't put it beneath any of the Syndicate leaders to leave a bug with the files.
The door also opened to let in some of Nathaniel's security detail so that they could sweep the room.
He had no plans of leaving anything to chance, he had to be meticulous in all of this.
There was no way he was going to risk failing to end the Syndicate once and for all, especially if they were working with his brother.
The security team soon gave the all-clear, informing Nathaniel and Clark that they had gathered all the listening devices planted and took the devices away with them.
Nathaniel was relieved that he had made sure the room was searched before speaking again.
"I knew they would do something like this," Nathaniel grumbled as the door slammed shut behind the security team.
