"Alright," Nico said, clearly regaining some of his courage. "There are a few things I'd like to ask you."
"Nico," Maya groaned.
"You might be older than me, Maya, but that won't stop me from questioning a man that left you and Gabriel, valid reason or not," Nico told her as he kept his attention on Nathaniel.
"Dad, Grandpa, are you really going to let him keep doing this?" Maya grumbled as she tried to get her Father and Grandfather to stop Nico.
To her surprise, it was Nathaniel who spoke next.
"It's fine, Maya," he told her as he held her hand. "Any question your siblings have, I will answer."
He then turned to her younger siblings, Ryan and Belle, "That goes for both of you as well, I'll answer any question as long as it doesn't put anyone in harm's way."
"Alright," Nico said interrupting Nathaniel's statement, making Maya flinch. "According to you, you left because your brother was hunting you down, where is he now?"
