"Have you seen it?" Katerina asked excitedly over the phone.
She was acting like a giddy teenager, excited about the gossip she was about to share with Maya.
"No, I've just finished putting Gabriel to sleep, I'm about to have diner with the rest of the family, so I haven't had much time to check my phone," Maya told her.
"It's a success!" Katerina happily announced. "Oh, and I threw in something to add some excitement into your life, bye."
"Katerina!" Maya groaned, but by that time it was too late.
The lawyer had already ended the call and Maya was left talking to no one but herself.
As much as Maya was tempted to check what was being said online, she didn't have the time nor the patience.
She was hungry and wanted to eat. She might have gotten a break from taking care of Gabriel today since his father had him the whole day, but she was nonetheless exhausted.
