"What did you do to them?" Clark asked as he watched some of Nathaniel's highest-ranked subordinates march out with their shoulders dropped.
He had worked with most of them for years and he knew that for them to be bothered that way, Nathaniel must have had scolded them thoroughly.
"Words are sometimes more powerful than torture," Nathaniel answered as he powered up his laptop and tapped into the camera in the lounge.
He needed to ensure that Gabriel was not woken by all the commotion. Nathaniel was well aware that he had raised his voice more than once, and although the room was soundproofed, the boy could have been bothered.
Nathaniel let out a sigh of relief when he found Gabriel still fast asleep.
Clark handed some of the men passing by him folders filled with documents before finally closing the door and walking over to his boss.
"Did you deal with it?" Nathaniel asked Clark without looking up from the laptop.
