"Katerina," Maya said as she tugged on Katerina's sleeve, trying to get her to stop.
She was still trying to process what the woman had just said, the CEO's name was Nathaniel. How many Nathaniels could there be in the De La Rue family? Was Nate lying to her?
"Katerina!" she said, raising her voice as the woman wouldn't stop dragging her into the VIP room.
"Later," Katerina hissed her gaze ice cold, sending a shiver down Maya's spine.
Maya tried stopping her, she needed questions or at least she needed to hear more of the conversation the women were having.
"Not here, not now," Katerina told her as she gripped Maya's arm tighter, pulling her into the VIP room.
When the door slammed shut behind them, Katerina spoke in a low but forceful voice, "Leave us, give us a moment."
Everyone quickly dispersed and left the two women alone in the room.
"Katerina, they said—" Maya began to speak when Katerina raised her hand to stop Maya.
