"He is what?!" Nathaniel asked, stunned that his half-brother would have the capacity to make a move after Nathaniel had dealt him an almost fatal blow.
"We aren't certain, but there are whispers," Lionel told his son. "We also can't find his snake of a mother."
"Fuck," Nathaniel cursed. "I'll get my best men on it."
He had only dared to go to Arlington now because he believed that the threat of his half-brother had been neutralized, but clearly, there were still some lingering problems.
"It's nothing alarming just yet, we just thought it would be best if you knew," Magnus told his grandson.
"Thanks, Grandpa, Thanks, Dad," Nathaniel said with a nod.
"It's the least we could do," Lionel told his son.
Nathaniel smiled and nodded. He knew that his father still felt that he was to blame for what Nathaniel suffered, even if Nathaniel himself had forgiven him.
