"Of course!" Nathaniel told his grandfather, appalled by the suggestion that he wouldn't do his due diligence in trying to find Gabriel's biological father.
"You did?" Magnus asked, shocked by Nathaniel's answer.
He was so certain that Gabriel was Nathaniel's son that it didn't cross his mind that his Grandson was no fool and would have made sure to check if the boy was his.
