"Hmmm, that's interesting," Katerina hummed as she entered the Office of the Vice President of Miller Industries.
This was Maya's real office, the one she would use eventually after learning the ins and outs of Miller Industries.
"What is it?" Maya asked, looking up from her laptop.
She was working on a new project for Miller Industries in the shadows. The employees knew that it was Edmond's daughter leading the project, but they had never met her.
"A little rumor about the CEO of DLR Enterprises," Katerina told her as she walked across the office and pulled a seat next to Maya.
"Nate's cousin?" she asked.
"Mmmm," Katerina answered.
"What is it?" Maya questioned, raising an eyebrow and dropping what she was working on to listen to what Katerina had discovered. "It seems you are interested."
"So what's the rumor?" she couldn't deny that recently she was becoming more and more invested in news about DLR Enterprises.
