By the time the night was over, Nathaniel was carrying both Eric and Gabriel, both boys had fallen asleep at some point during the night.
They had tried moving them and taking them home, but the two boys refused, so they stayed until the boys were willing to go home.

He walked in silence with Katerina and Maya, they knew that there were too many eavesdroppers to speak about what had happened.
They stayed silent until they got into Nathaniel's car and buckled the two boys up.
