After hearing what Benedict had to say, Nathaniel was left with a lot to think about.
It wasn't just about the sheer amount of money his company was losing or the amount of talent that left DLR Enterprises. It was now about the lives shattered by those in the syndicate.
"Any chance you stayed in contact with some of them?" Nathaniel asked his friend tentatively.
He didn't know if Benedict would trust him or not, he was, after all, still part of DLR Enterprises' true management team.
"I might," Benedict said tentatively. "It depends," he shrugged.
"Depends on what?" Nathaniel asked as he tried not to be demanding.
"Depends on if I can trust you," Benedict said, his tone a little bit harsher than earlier.
Nathaniel crossed his arms on his chest and leaned back on his seat as he observed the man before him.
"And how do you propose I prove that?" Nathaniel asked.
