That night, Xagrien woke up to the heat in his surroundings. He thought that maybe his mother lit up a fire for them. It was so warm and comfortable that it made him fall into another deep slumber.
However, when he felt the slight quake, he knew that something was wrong. Xagrien opened his eyes.
What he saw would leave him scarred forever.
"Mother?" That is all he could utter. His mind was paralyzed to think of anything as his purple orbs reflected the scene where his mother was stopping a humongous beast from entering their cave. It was a fearsome beast that was covered with thick armor like-scales all over its body. Its teeth are pointed and sharp, obviously meant to prey on anything that has flesh.
This is a four-star beast, an Earth Dragon!
