Luis widened his eyes upon feeling the fast and loud beating of Xagrien's heart.
He snappily raised his head and saw Xagrien's blushing face. The male's eyes looked as if he was drunk by the way his gaze was fixed on Luis' face.
"The dangers are gone now, my lord. Don't you think that you owe me something?"
"W-what?" Luis tried to feign ignorance but his voice ultimately failed him, it cracked. The confidence that he thought he had vanished right when it counts.
"You told me back when you were trying to save me that you like me. I want to confirm if it's the same as what I am feeling for you. Do you feel your heart raising as fast as mine whenever we are this close?" Xagrien asked while he was pinning Luis' hands on his chest.
It was a checkmate for the moon elf lord.
