The moment my group and I stepped onto the 70th floor, we were blinded by pure darkness for a brief moment, and as we slowly regained our vision, all we could really see was the throne in the back of the room.
The long glass panel behind the throne was the only illumination we had, allowing me to detail the figure sitting on it a bit more.
Similar to the ancient fiends and harpies we had seen, the demon in front of us had ashen-white skin. However, all of his other features were completely different.
He had four arms, four horns, and four red eyes—two on each side of his face. As my eyes trailed down, I noticed that his torso seemed to be split in two by a wide mouth with large, pointy teeth, which was a bit unsettling to look at, to be honest.
When the demon spoke up with his deep voice to welcome us, I felt an overwhelming pressure on my shoulders, making me turn my head towards my companions to see how they were faring.
