After going up the staircase that led to the tower's second floor, we were surprised to see that the large pillars covered in coral were also present on that floor.
Compared to the first floor, where we had to use magic to light our way, the second floor was slightly more illuminated—though we couldn't tell where the light was coming from.
Vespera's spiders had already found the next set of stairs that led to the third floor, and she explained that there seemed to be a "demon wall" blocking the way.
"A demon wall? Like, a lot of demons standing next to each other?" I pondered aloud, prompting Vespera to shake her head in denial.
"It's a demon wall," She continued.
Nessa interjected and explained that demon walls were constructs that were created to test other demons' capabilities. Some walls were much tougher than others, and if a devil broke through one of them with their power, others would get a rough idea of how strong they were.
