The day after Ovi's birth, Melina and I were helping the Vikings in the north with the repairs of their capital.
One of the main changes we made was to take down the large walls that split the city into five different areas. Some of them were already pretty destroyed after the battle, so it wasn't too much of a problem to fully get rid of them.
Besides, it wasn't only Melina and I who helped, as our familiars accompanied us as well, making the job much faster.
The walls were placed by the old emperor of the north as a way to segregate his residents into different types. The poorest citizens lived closer to the outskirts while the rich and powerful were closer to the center. Still, there weren't as many wealthy citizens as in other countries like the Guanghua Kingdom.
As we were taking down the last wall, the earth rumbled for a moment, and I got startled, thinking that we were getting attacked again. However, the earthquake ceased after a few seconds.
