While Nessa kept going further down the pink goblins' cave, I was trying to create a pseudo-gas mask to help us resist the toxic fumes from the pink leaves.
I made the frame of the mask using earth magic, but that obviously wasn't enough.
I knew that gas masks had filters made with fiber, but it's not like I knew the entire science behind them, so I had to think less about the scientific method and more about a magical solution.
'The filters are placed there so that the toxic particles don't go through… Could I use air magic for something similar?' I pondered.
I used a finger to produce a small orb of compressed air, tweaking the spell so that the orb would reject anything that came in contact with it except for fresh, clean air.
Then, I used an enchantment to have the orb stick to the inside of the mask, right in the center where my nose and mouth went.
