When they were back to the mansion. just as there carriage was about to ride in another carriage did before them. Sirius brows creased as he watched the person emerge from the carriage. Katherine was also intrigued it looked like the two sibling love night walks.
Sylvia started walking into the mansion. They waited till she was gone entirely.
" Katherine you should be able to go back right?" Sirius asked her from the side and she nodded walking put. His brows went back to creasing, what was his sister doing out this night.
Katherine walked into her room, she saw Titania asleep. she exhaled before dipping into the mattress to sleep beside her. she remembered asking Sirius the time and he said 1:30.

" Brother Sirius good morning" Silvia greeted his brother who was walking down the staircase.
" Good morning Sylvia how was your night" He buttoned his sleeve coat as his gaze fell on his sister who look rather strangely happy. " What calls to this beam on your face Sylvia. "
Sylvia waved her hand in front of her face to deny it. " Where were you last night to not have noticed the splendid visit of young Caroline, I didn't notice you in the mansion last night" she said with suspicion in her eyes. Right after a young girl in her preschooler ran to hug Sirius leg.
" Milord!" young Caroline ran to hugged his leg her tiny hand clutched to it. Sirius crouched to her level.
" How have you been doing Caroline, the little baby remembers his uncle" he tickled her tummy with a finger while the little girl tried to suppress her laughter.
" it is a shame that the vampires have a heightened memory which the humans have not" Sylvia said and right after she was shot a hard glare by his brother.
" Sylvia where were you last night?"He finally released the girl but her hand flared in the air at him asking to be carried. That moment Mrs Aubrey walked into the scene, with her personal maid. She gave her a head sign to lift the child.
" uuhh wh wh what do you mean where I was" Sylvia said under his brother iron gaze which shifted to look at the maid who came to take the child, marking it as an opportunity to escape from her brother's watch.
" Hii Caroline I will carry you instead." Katherine said to the girl, when she made an effort the little girl swat away her hand.
" I want Sirius to carry me instead" The little girl who has a curly short hair said. wasn't the little girl taught any etiquette.
" This isn't the right time Caroline"
" Go away!! you silly-" she shouted angrily.
" Carol where are your manners, weren't you thought to never disrespect your elders" Sirius cutter her off with a sharp look which frightened the girl.
" oh, Sirius why are you scaring the poor girl " Mrs Aubrey who stood there said.
" Since you have disrespected your elder you need to apologize Caroline " Sirius said.
" No milord its really of no use" Katherine said just to keep off the attention.
" She has to apologize" he said sternly.
" But I am more of status than she is brother Sirius, why should I apologize" the little girl complained.
" Sirius I think Caroline has a point, I mean she is just a maid, its not really something to be concerned about."Mrs Aubrey said.
" Now!" Sirius ordered.
" Mother told me to never apologize to people beneath us, but I will do it for you brother Sirius " the girl said with teary eyes which turned to a glare once she faced Katherine. " sorry!" she ran as her leg could carry. Katherine could tell the girl was already in tears. Children of the elite were really something.
In as much as Katherine had felt bad for the girl's words at her she didn't want the girl be frightened to that level to lead her crying. Her eyes looked up to look at Sirius who wasn't sparing her another look.
" The girl must be frightened to death by you Sirius " Mrs Aubrey poured out her thought.
" Mother do you know where Sylvia goes at night" Sirius questioned.
" I haven't heard of that Sirius, why would you say that?" Mrs Aubrey asked with s creased brow merely at the thought. " Katherine send for lady Sylvia now!!"
Katherine knocked at the Lady Sylvia door. " Who is at the door?" A voice at the door said.
" Lady Sylvia, Mrs Aubrey wants your presence it seems urgent." she said and the door snapped open, getting her trapped with the lady's gaze. Katherine bowed to leave but was stopped by her word.
" You! aren't you my mother's personal maid, how dare you ignore me then you are nothing but a lowly human" Sylvia said in a foul mood not liking the servant at the door who dared ignored her.
" Am sorry miss but I don't really have time to squander excuse me" Katherine quickly walking out of there which got the lady furious and she dug her claw into her palm promising to get back at her. She refuse to take insult where she work, her job was to only serve the elder miss and no one else not another soul.
A minute later Sylvia walked down and seeing everyone at the dining she joined them.
" Sylvia I heard you now go midnight, could you mind telling the reasons. " Mr. Augustus said calmly. Sylvia shifted to look at her brother who remained as calm as ever.
" uhm Sirius this isn't something to alert everyone about, it could be between brother and sister"
" You never told me that before you left not twice but thrice." He retorted.
Sylvia dug her fingers into her palm cursing herself. Before she could form any words she heard a seat screech.
" Really, but you always not at home during night hour, why should I be excluded this is partial" Sylvia snapped.
" Sylvia I am a lord do I have to remind you of that." Sirius said to His sister.
" Sylvia do you mind telling us your whereabouts last night" Mr. Augustus said.
" Don't tell you are suspecting our Sylvia oh my!!" Mrs Aubrey exclaimed with a gasp.
