"What the hell happened to Alberto? Why is he demanding to see Valerie?"
Marcelo scratched his head, unsure of what to answer. He could tell that something was wrong but he wasn't ready to bear the brunt of Valentino's fury.
"Boss, I believe he is still grieving. Maybe he wants every member of the family around him."
Valentino's inflamed eyes shot daggers at Marcelo.
"What nonsense! Even though he was grieving, he was calm before I left his house yesterday and he never mentioned my daughter's name. Why the sudden change now? Why is he acting hysterical this morning?"
"I'm still trying to get more information boss," Marcelo said in a frustrated tone.
"Are you sure no one from our end told him anything about Valerie?" Valentino asked, while mentally asphyxiating the unknown traitor that would dare sabotage him.
