Before Adrian left for work, he took Stella to his bedroom and showed her where she could easily assess cash anytime she was in need.
Adrian gave Stella the secret combination to his wall mounted safe and showed her how to open it.
When Adrian opened up the safe, Stella's eyes almost popped out of its socket due to the amount of cash neatly stacked and arrange inside the safe.
These cash were in different currencies and the highest denomination.
Aside from cash, Stella also saw some neatly arranged documents which she assumed would be very important. She also laid eyes on some pieces of jewelry, precious stones and even a few gold bars.
"Adrian, I know you're trying to prove to me that you could trust me. But I feel uncomfortable with this level of trust." Stella said while staring at the huge temptation before her. "Aren't you worried that I could steal all your money and run away with it?"
