There was a short pause on the other side of the line before the husky voice spoke up.
"An express delivery would attract more money. Do you have the jewelry you spoke of earlier?"
"Yes, I do."
"Good! Bring it down to the salon tomorrow morning by 10:00 AM. Also, I would need physical cash of ten thousand dollars."
"O...okay," Stella's eyes darted around the wardrobe for anything she could sell and convert to physical cash. "Thanks, I will see you tomorrow with the jewelry and cash."
Just as the line disconnected, Stella's phone started ringing again.
This time around it was registered as an unknown caller. Stella stared at the ringing phone in alarm.
"Who could this unknown caller be? Could it be someone from my past? Or could it be the Red Sparrow just taking precautionary measures?"
Stella inhaled and exhaled sharply before swiping the receive button.
"Hello sweetheart..."
