Chapter 65 - Moonlight Picnic

Under millions of twinkling stars and a bright shining full moon, Alex led Stella, arm in arm, into the massive but serene Silk vineyard. As they made their way through long rows of vine, they spoke quietly and laughed heartily. 

Alex talked about some of his memorable childhood days in Rosaltan Ville. He talked about his late mum and the special moment they shared together anytime they visited the vineyard. 

"You must really miss your mum," Stella said softly as she tightened his hold on Alex.

"Yes, I do. She was an amazing woman with the kindest heart. She is the reason why the bond between my sisters and me is unbreakable. How I wish she was able to live long enough for me to introduce you to her. She would have really been excited to meet you." A hint of sadness laced Alex's tone as memories of his mum flooded his mind.

"I would have loved to meet her too," Stella said genuinely as the thought of her own mother crossed her mind.
