Sebastian's questions and the manner of approach made Stella almost chuckle out loud. She could see the fear in his eyes as he waited for her response while checking behind them severally to ensure they weren't been followed.
'What a nosy old man,' Stella smiled within.
"No!"
Stella's response was direct, firm and emotionless. It got Sebastian wondering if she was angry with him. Hence, he decided to clear the air on his reasons for asking such a question even though he doubted her reply.
"Stella, please forgive my poke nosing. I was inwardly assuming the both of you were a couple due to the way Mr. Adrian was hovering around you. From the way he was behaving possessively around you, one could wrongly assume that he is your husband."
"Hahaha!" Stella unintentionally burst out laughing due to the old man's remark. Even though she knew the old man was right in his assessment, she didn't feel like indulging him in her personal affairs. Hence, she said in a cheerful tone.
