Chapter 10 - Chapter 9: The Confrontation

As they walked towards the dormitory, the wind began to pick up, and the air grew tense.

Zhang Wei group wasn't too far from the dormitory notice the sudden change of atmosphere.

"What is it now?" Yun Zi muttered to herself.

Suddenly, a shrill whistle cut through the air, and a flash of black flame shot down from the sky. The group looked up in awe as a sword, wreathed in black fire, descended towards the entrance of the dormitory.

The ground shook as the sword struck the earth, sending shockwaves rippling outwards. The flames burned hot and bright, casting an eerie glow over the area. The group stood frozen, staring at the sword in disbelief.

"What in the world is that?" Yang Chen asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

"I don't know," Wu Hao replied, his eyes fixed on the sword. "But it can't be good."

He know in his heart that the person who doing this doesn't have any good intention. Who would summon a sword wreathed in black fire unless they had some sinister purpose in mind?

Yun Zi's anger burned like a fierce flame as she watched the scene unfold. "That idiot always causes trouble for the newcomers," she spat, her voice laced with contempt.

Yan Jie looked at the flaming sword with a mix of curiosity and apprehension. "Should we intervene?" he asked, his eyes flickering with uncertainty.

Zhang Wei remained calm and composed, his eyes fixed on the scene before him. "Let's wait and see," he said, his voice measured and thoughtful. "I want to see what these new students are capable of, and perhaps we'll even catch a glimpse of the mysterious figure who was involved in the incident."

As they stood there and observed, the flames began to die down, revealing a figure standing at the hilt of the sword. The figure was tall and imposing, clad in black robes that billowed in the wind.

Wu Hao felt a chill run down his spine as he looked at the figure. There was something about him that was unsettling, something that spoke of a darker nature. He could feel the aura of power emanating from the figure, and it made him uneasy.

The figure's face was twisted into a sneer, his eyes cold and calculating. He looked down at the group with disdain, as if they were nothing more than insects beneath his feet.

Wu Hao could feel his heart racing as he watched the figure step forward. He knew that they were in danger, but he remain the same without showing any sign of weakness.

As he stepped forward, his face twisted into a cruel smile. "Well, well, well," he said, his voice dripping with malice. "What do we have here? A bunch of little juniors, got lost?"

The group exchanged uneasy glances, unsure of how to respond to the senior's taunt. Wu Hao stepped forward, his fists clenched in anger.

"we're not lost," he said, his voice firm. "We know exactly where we are going. And we don't appreciate your attitude."

The senior's sneer deepened. "Oh, is that so?" he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "And what are you going to do about it, little junior?"

The senior stepped closer, his eyes lingered on Jing, who stood before him with an air of indifference. She seemed unfazed by his menacing presence, as if she had no fear of him whatsoever. "And who do we have here?" he said, his voice low and menacing. "A little beauty, all alone in the dark. You must be lost, my dear."

Wu Hao took a step closer his aura start to surge out and enveloped his body, his eye blazing with fury his fists clenched at his sides. He knew that Jing alone could handle that senior with her eye close but if she act on her own her true identity will be exposed and he didn't want her to be in trouble because of him.

With a deep breath, Wu Hao raised his head high and locked eyes with the senior. His aura pulsed with energy, and he could feel the power coursing through his veins.

"You don't need an army to take on a bully like you," he said, his voice firm and unwavering. "All you need is the courage to stand up and fight back."

Yang Chen from a side impressed by Wu Hao words. "That's right," he said, his own aura beginning to surge. "We may be a new student here, but we're not afraid to stand up for what's right. We won't let you mess around with us"

The senior's sneer faltered slightly, but he quickly regained his composure. "You talk a big game, little junior," he said, his voice low and menacing. "But I don't think you have what it takes to back it up."

Wu Hao stepped forward, his fists clenched at his sides. "Try me," he said, his voice laced with challenge.

The senior's eyes narrowed, and he took a step forward. With a flick of his wrist, the senior summoned his sword from where it had been embedded in the ground. The weapon flew through the air with a menacing whistle, before landing back in his grasp with a satisfying thud. The black flames that had once wreathed the sword flickered to life once more, casting an eerie glow over the area.

"I want to see what are you little brat capable of with all those big word." The senior said his voice a little serious.

Wu Hao paid no heed to the senior's taunts and lunged at him with lightning speed, his sword enveloped in a deadly aura of Qi. His movements were so swift that even those below his rank could barely follow them, and he appeared to clone into multiple versions of himself as he swung his weapon in all directions.
