Tick... TockTick.
"Hmm," Louise groaned as she rolled over in bed.
Tick... TockTickTick.
"Ugh," she muttered, annoyed at the persistent ticking sound.
Tick... TockTickTickTickTickTickTickTickTick!!
"Oh my God, that's so annoying! Go away!" Louise yelled as she hurled a pillow at her bedroom window.
The next morning, Louise woke up to the sound of a bird pecking furiously at her window.
"What's the point of a bird pecking at windows?! Don't they have anything better to do?!" she grumbled to herself.
The morning sun streamed into her room, casting a beautiful glow over the already stunning young girl lying in bed. Even in her doll-like state of dress, she was a work of art that would make a painter weep with the completion of his masterpiece.
Unfortunately, even though she had just woken up, Louise couldn't fall back asleep. It was a terrible habit of hers that had followed her throughout her life.
"Why did I have to wake up so early...?" she groaned as the world around her seemed to spin. Her eyes burned and her head felt heavy, but she knew from experience that she wouldn't be able to sleep anymore.
In a moment of frustration, she slapped herself lightly on the face with both hands and then jumped out of bed with a lazy stretch.
"Ah," she sighed.
Your room was one of the largest in the mansion. At Louise's request, it was largely covered in crimson, "it suits me better," she thought. A red and gold carpet covered the entire floor, and a majestic - and unnecessarily - large bed stood on one side. The bed was carved from noble woods and decorated with 24-karat gold and fine red curtains, in the style of the double beds of the Forthen royalty. Of course, Louise didn't even know that just the price of that bed could make a simple family live in luxury for years. She just slept in it without caring much.
"I think I better get up and go take a shower," she decided.
After finishing stretching her arms and legs, she headed for the bathroom - which was also in her room - but that's when...
"Wow... ow!"
She tripped over something. The fall was soft, as the floor was covered in a plush carpet. But, of course, no one likes to trip, especially not Louise, who hadn't woken up well. Looking closely at what made her trip:
"A book...? Oh, that's right. I forgot I picked it up."
Still on the floor, she pulled the book closer and flipped through it. It was one that the receptionist, Nathalya, recommended to Louise. The cover read: The Great Adventures of Grandshich. She only read a part of it, but it seemed quite interesting.
"I think I'll read it in that place..."
She hadn't given a name to where she was in the afternoon of the previous day, so it was always complicated to refer to it. But now she had decided, she would go there as soon as she finished her breakfast. She told Yuval she would be in the library, but she didn't think that would be a problem, after all, it wasn't his problem where Louise went or what she did - she thought so, at least.
"Miss!!!"
"And speaking of the devil..."
Yuval appeared as if kicking the door, and he seemed desperate in some way. He was sweating with a strong expression of concern.
"I heard a noise! Are you okay?! Oh, God! Are you hurt?!"
"I'm fine. I just fell, stop being annoying."
"We need a doctor! I'll call one immediately!"
"I already said I'm fine!!"
After consulting a doctor for Louise - just because she tripped on the floor - she spent about twenty minutes with a great family doctor, only for him to say in the end "did something really happen to you?" Of course, this annoyed her. In the end, after kicking her butler Yuval several times, she left. She took a long, hot shower and then ate her breakfast. This time she went out dressed warmly as it was already a bit cold. And then, with her book in hand, she headed towards her favorite resting place.
