He is yet to find out the meaning of that great aura of energy he had been sensing from Uriel both physical and in spirit. His aura bypassed his powerful self being Eric to the extent that he feels like burning to ashes once he is near him. Burning to ashes does not mean that Uriel's aura could burn him physically but it's triggering his environment thereby making it feel hot instead of a normal warm temperature and he does not like it even though he had grown used to it. Upon the all the harsh treatments he inflicted on her in the name of training her, she still endured and sacrificed her life for him, he knew that he would surely survive the attack if only it wasn't poisoned but the little a human offered to him lifted up his spirit that there are still people that are willing to sacrifice their lives for the important people they have. He knew that Hazel was never a lover girl and it will never be love that made her perform this act but she sturbbonly submitted to her master depriving him from the world of death. Noticing her pulse was still responding, he carried her to a safety area where injured warriors were treated if they were at the brink of death and it's only possible if a warrior in near that spot and the worst is that the place will triggered by the enemies and that's why the spot doesn't last and luckily for the two of them, the battle ground was cleared from their enemies, they ran away once the battle was out of hand. Hazel was still at fifty percent chance of survival and fifty percent chance of death until Uriel came and took her back to the palace regardless that she was dying once he noticed that her condition was critical and he would never afford to waste such many in one gift, one being that she is a very great warrior, two being her questioning beauty, three being that her looks can be used in political aspects of exchanging her for something worthful in another kingdom or so but Uriel had rejected such countless offers from Rusmus his father, and four which is never the least being in advantage for Uriel entering her in and out anywhere and anytime he wants. He had kept her dead body in his room for two good weeks as she couldn't survive thirty minutes of her worsened state until he reached the palace leaving the warfare of the battle in the hands of his second hand man Eric and no one knew she was dead. After fourteen days, he called the servants to come and take her to her room for her rest and only god knows how he woke her up from death claiming he only treated her but how come the deep mark disappeared... perhaps he poured a magical ointment into it and it's only the highest class of people were able to afford such treasurable herb and it's 99.9 percent rare to take a hold of it and it's only few doctors that deals with magic arts are able to get hold of it being witches but are very few and almost impossible to locate but eventually, Uriel used none of this but how...no one knows and no one cared to know to avoid their gossiping ears and mouth to be cut from their places, they only believed that he had a thing for Hazel and that's why he secretly took his time and searched for a strong witch doctor and brought the later in his room to do the job. This act of Hazel made the stone hearted Eric to start having a soft spot for her before it gradually developed into love. During the days of her unconscios state, Eric had been in quiet and shocked mode that he might have been in this state of hers, for her to be unconscious for more than three days meant that the arrow was poisoned and it's likely impossible for her to wake up and he will never forgive himself for such untimely death of hers but was immediately relieved and very surprised when he saw the full life body of his saviour being taken out of her master's chambers, perhaps he would have been dead if he was in her state after all, it was grace that brought her life...she is so lucky and luckiness is mainly made for good people and after that day, he came to her room dismissing her room mates and begged her to forgive his harsh trainings on her but Hazel found it very amusing, she did this because a certain urge pulled her to protect this man, she can't let someone important die in her presence whereas their is still chance to save him but she can't risk her life also, and why did she try saving him knowing she would have been dead if not for the miracle that happened to her life.
