The Dragon Turtle Tribe doesn't rank its members by age. It takes 80,000 years for a Dragon Turtle to reach maturity, but a new generation might not be born even after 180,000 years. If we really ranked by age, how many 'ancestors' would need to be added to address a predecessor?
Order of generations among Dragon Turtles. From the time you're born, if a new turtle arrives within 80,000 years, you are of one generation. If another appears not long after 80,000 years, then the three of you are considered the same generation—though in reality, the first and third may have an age difference spanning more than a single generation.
In Gu Luo and their generation, there was a population boom, with four Dragon Turtles born within 300,000 years, all counted as one generation. It took another full 300,000 years before White Spirit appeared, and then little over 20,000 but less than 30,000 years passed until Su He was born.
