Indeed, none who have gone from being an ordinary mortal beast to fighting for the Demonic Fruit, step by step, until reaching the Divine God Beast status, have been simple creatures.
This is also the reason why the Sealed Emperor's Palace deliberately treats the Four Spirits differently from the Mystery Huang World. Since time immemorial, it has deliberately fostered an atmosphere that the Four Spirits are the Four Spirits and the Mystery Huang World is the Mystery Huang World.
It lets the Four Spirits tower above everything else anywhere they go, including the Sealed Emperor Great World.
But it seems to have had little effect, those Four Spirits that should oppose the Seal Emperor still oppose, and those that should lean towards Mystery Huang still do.
