Chapter 20 - Chapter 18

Wanday, Sharay, Natay and Tafuh returned to Mount city safely and they nursed Sharay to health. They knew it was time to set off and attack Amandla and her warriors. They had managed to get people in to their army and now they had to see how they could attack Agasah. "Amandla is not an easy target. She has been trained since she was a child to lead the valoyee arm and now that she has Arub's powers it is goingto be difficult to defeat her." Tafuh told them. They all were worried and feared the worst. Wanday was awfully quiet in the meeting that it worried her sister. "Wanday you seem to be distracted." Sharay said to her sister. She saw the look on Wanday's face so did everyone in the room. "You look troubled. Is everything alright?" Andrew asked her. Wanday stood up and she began walking aroung the table they sat. Se looked at her sister who sat next to the northern captains and looked at Tiney who sat next to the other southerners. Tafuh and the Agasian warriors sat next to Andrew and she had a horrified look on her face. "I cant stop thinking of the vision I had. I saw Agasah burning but it wasn't us who burnt it but the exiled warriors from heaven. They held a woman's hand. She wore a crown and she killed everyone of us." Wanday voiced her worries to them. They all mumbled to themselves and Andrew finally spoke. "Rajay and his men have never posed a threat to this realm or the human race. They have only resorted to hunting and isolated themselves from everyone. Why would they strike now?" they all nodded and agreed upon themselves. "Maybe Amandla sought them out and they will strike us." Sharay said. They were all quiet and Wanday spoke, "The woman they held wasn't Agasian nor was she from the valoyee people. She didn't belong and she wasn't one of us nor was she one of Amandla's people." Everyone in the room looked worried. They had fear on their faces because they knew how powerful and mighty the exiled warriors from heaven were. They knew this would mean death and they all feared for the worst. "I think you were just afraid. They won't march and attack the city for anyone. Even the great prostitute couldn't convince him to give her his heart, instead he killed her." Muney told them. They all agreed upon themselves. "You probably right. When d we march to Agasah?" Wanday asked as she tried hard to convince herself. She knew this wasn't just a random vision deep down but she also didn't want to lose an opportunity to get their home back from Amandla. However she knew if there was danger lurking then Amandla would have also had the same vision or the crystal of life had shown her the future too. She hoped and prayed her sister would see this and retreat before the all perished in the hands of this woman.

Amandla found the spell book to create her army or the dead. She went to the cemetery, cut her right hand and dripped it in a silver cup. She took water from th river and uttered an ancient prayer to wake the dead. She walked in the cemetery and sprinkled the diluted water upon the graves and they opened with the dead rising from the depths of the earth. She was going to crush her sisters and take Sharay prisoner so she could have all her power to herself. She watched her army rise and this made her proud of herself. This shook the realm and as this was something that used up most of the magic in the realm to raise the dead. Dead Agasians and valoyees rose and walked out of their grave to their queen. Harunah felt the ground shake from her chambers and she knew her daughter was up to no good. She prayed to the gods to save her people and children. She didn't fear a war between her daughters but she feared the wrath that Rajay would bring upon them if what Amandla had seen in the crystal was true. Wanday and the others also felt the ground shake. Sharsy fell to the ground as the magic from the river was drawn from her. Andrew ran and held her in his arms. "What is happening to her?" He asked Wanday. Wanday replied."Amandla is raising an army of the dead using magic drawn from the river and herself. War is upon us now and there is no avoiding it now. "She was afraid of the war and what it would do to her and her friends. Amandla felt the same kind of fear that her sister felt. She knew that if the vision she had seen was true they were all going to die. She walked from the cemetery and assembled her army of the dead. She walked in front of them and felt power. Her living army also assembled themselves next to the dead army and she was just happy to see how big her army was. "Prepare the weapons! The enemy shall march and we shall be ready to defend our home with everything we have got!" She walked back into her tower and left her warriors to prepare for war. She went up to the highest part of the tower where Shekah's dead body lay in a casket preserved. She took the remaining water and poured it on his dead body as she uttered the ancient spell. She stood away from his body and waited to see him raise. He woke up from the dead and sat down on the bed he had been laying on for months. He looked confused and she kept standing away from him. He looked at her confused and asked. "Am I dreaming or you are standing right next to me Amandla? Did you die?" he asked er. Tears ran down her cheeks, she ran and hugged him tightly. "Oh Shekah you are alive! I am happy you remember me!" She cried as he held her tighter too. "How is this possible Amandla? Did you raise me from the dead?" he asked her. she nodded as she continued crying. "I have so much to tell you. We have so much work to do. I made your new uniform with a new emblem it looks just like mine!" she was excited to see him she wanted to tell him everything. He coughed and smiled at her. "I am glad you raise me and it feels good to be alive again Amandla. We have work to do." He said to her but she stopped him and insisted he rest a bit. She left his chambers with a smile on her face as hse walked to her mother's chambers. She found her mother praying by her window and even though she knew Harunah prayed for all her daughters Amandla loved teasing her mother. "You must be praying for your precious queen mother! Don't worry I wont kill Sharay I need her special powers but I can't say the same for the other witch." She told her mother who kept praying in silent. this irritated Amandla that she went and whispered in her mother's ear. "You will die praying and your gods will never answer your stupid prayers Harunah." She walked out of her mother's chambers and Harunah opened her eyes as tears filled them. Amandla feared losing her mother the most during this war and her mother knew that her daughter feared losing her. She went to her chambers were she looked on at her armour and she knew it was time. She prayed Miranda had managed to convince Rajay to join her in the war or at least know she wasn't intending on declaring any kind of war on them.

Everyone prepared for the war that was about to come. The sisters had waited for this a long time and they were all determined to end this war. Sharay wore her armour which was made of gold material, it had an emblem of an arrow on it. She took on her sword and braided her white as she got ready to go to war against her sister. Wanday who wore a black dress with a white rose walked up to her to her sister and helped her finish braiding her hair. "You will do just fine my Sharay, mother would have said that to you today." She told her sister who held her mother's necklace in her hand. Sharay smiled and held her sisters hand. Wanday hugged her sister from behind and kissed her on the head. This was a moment they had both waited for, Wanday knew how much Sharay wanted to go back home with her mother's bones and she would help her sister achieve that. The held hands as they both walked out to the wall together, the warriors had assembled below the wall whilst the others including king Andrew stood by the wall. They all looked for Sharay to say something to the warriors but she looked at her sister who nodded her head in assurance. Sharay let go of Wanday's hand and walked to the edge of the wall. She took a deep breath and spoke. "Today we will march as one, we have united as a family for one cause, we will take Agasah. We will not take it only for me but for all of us who stand here with me. It will become our homeand we will die fighting together!" The warriors began beating the drums and singing songs of war. They began shouting Agasah and Sharay rode on the griffin and flew above them with the other warriors. They all left the city as the women of Mount city threw roses at them and cheered them on. They were going to war for the home that had been promised them by the queens. Natay believed in the queens with everything in her body, she knew that they would make Agasah everyone's home and so she marched with great determination it made Tafuh laugh. "What? Why are you laughing at me Tafuh?" She asked the great warrior. "You look like a young teenage girl who just received flowers from a boy." Tafuh teased her and the other captains broke in laughter. Natay rolled her eyes and said. "I don't want to ride with you anymore Tafuh, I prefer to walk with the other warriors." They laughed at her again and this really pissed her off but as she was about to snap at them Sharay interrupted them and said. "You should ride with me Natay and leave these idiots to fly alone." She reached out her hand to Natay who smiled and grabbed it. They both flew away on Sharay's griffin. "I would swear that girl has a crush on the queen, did you see the way she smiled at Sharay." One of the captains said, Tafuh didn't respond to this because she had seen many drawn to Sharay but yet none had she ever liked. She knew the queen had no heart so she couldn't fall in love. They continued marching to Agasah and they would stop to make a fire so everyone would rest. They were all aware of the danger that awaited them.

As she waited for her sisters to come she paced up and down the halls of the tower. She was nervous and yet full of confidence. She walked to her chambers and her mother's chambers as she was deep in thought. Harunah went and took her daughter's armour to polish it. She sat by her window whilst she polished it. Amandla walked in and saw her mother polishing her armour. She went and stood by the table that was close to her mother whilst she poured herself some wine. "I think the snake really looks good on your armour. I remember when you went and went to have the sunflower birthmark scrapped off your back to have a rattle snake as your tattoo. I was furious and thought why did she have that scrapped off." Harunah said to her daughter and then paused for a moment. She stood from her stool and held Amandla's hand. "Do not get hurt Amandla and promise me you also wont die because if you do this mother's heart will not be able to bear it. I will die too if you die. So come back to me when all this is over." She told her daughter as tears filled her eyes. Amandla could see that her mother's heart was breaking, she didn't want to lose neither Amandla nor did she want to lose her other daughters. She turned and hugged her mother tightly as tears fell from her eyes and replied. "I won't get hurt mother, I won't kill them either. For you I will just fight and protect my city and I will come back to you. If I lose we can move to the south together and stay there." Harunah hugged her child tighter too and nodded her head in agreement. Even if the twins were her blood she had a magical bond with Amandla that she could never be able to deny. Amandla let go of her mother, took her armour and went to dress up. Harunah fell to the ground and sobbed. She wasn't afraid of the war her daughters would bring upon themselves but she was now afraid of the war that an outsider brought to her daughters. Amandla wore her armour and went to join her forces by the wall. They all stood there waiting for the enemy to come upon them, they waited to kill for their queen. Shekah stood below the wall with the other warriors they could hear sounds from a distant. They all felt the ground tremble and they knew their enemy was upon them. Amandla signaled his generals to blow the trumpets to let everyone know it was time. The trumpets were blown and the warriors began marching out of the city to go and meet their enemy. Wanday and Sharay heard the trumpets and knew Amandla had been waiting for them. She was now ready for war, ready to take them out and she was going to crush them. Both armies marched to their meeting ground. They were prepared for one another but they had no idea there was danger lurking on the other side of the valley, waiting to strike them down and take their home.

Rajay and his men marched quietly in the valleys of Agasah. They split and made sure they surrounded the sisters and their armies. They camped nearby and waited for them to fight. The sisters were marching towards each other to even notice that there was smoke in the valleys. Rajay and his men plotted to attack the sisters on the second day of war when they had grown tired. Miranda could see her crown close and she knew it was going to be the easiest victory to get. She sat next to Rajay and Vian as they planned their attack on the queens. They knew the queens would do anything to get their city back but they were all too stupid to think of other threats that would be lurking out there. "What if this is a trap? Amandla saw a vision of the future and you attacking Agasah. She told me that she sees the same visions her sister Wanday sees even though they are not blood related." Miranda warned Rajay. He walked from the other side of the table and replied, "I am sure they both saw this but they are too focused on bringing each other down they wont even know what hit them." He seemed quite confident in himself and his men. He had known Harunah for a long time, she was known for her beauty, wisdom and kindness in the heavens but she had not passed that to any of her daughters. She only passed the beauty to the twins and to Amandla she gave nothing but Agasah which he was going to take away from her. "We wait for dawn then we close in on them. We will begin marching closer to them in the morning." He ordered his men. They all went to their resting places to rest and left him alone with Vian and Miranda. He looked at them and said. "You too should rest like the others. You will need all the strength you need Vian, it has been long since you have used up your magic and it might need all you have got." Vian patted his friend on he shoulder and replied. "You too must rest Rajay. This must be hard for you since you are going up against the gods' chosen children." Rajay smiled and patted his friend back on the shoulders. He walked away from Vian to his tent, Miranda bowed to Vian and followed behind Rajay but Vian grabbed her arm. "If you do anything funny and hurt him I will make you pay." He warned her and she smiled at him. "I don't intend on letting him go or hurting him. Now let my hand go!" She replied him coldly and walked out of the tent following Rajay. She saw him sitting on a stool and he looked worried. She walked behind him and placed her hands on his bare chest, rubbing her soft and warm hands on him. She kissed his neck and whispered in his ear. "You shouldn't worry about anything Rajay. You are the mightiest of them all, the destroyer of the rebel gods, the only warrior who can build and destroy. You are the only one Rajay." She told him as she rubbed his are chest and kissed his neck. He loved the way she praised him, he was drawn by her kisses and her touch. He turned to face her and kissed her hard on the lips. He carried her and she wrapped her legs around him as he walked with her and placed her on the ground. He slowly opened her garment exposing those nipples and he sucked them hard. He grabbed her leg and kissed her from her foot to her thighs. He could hear he moan as she ran her fingers through his hair. He made love to her and she would feel his strength in him. He held her through the night and he could hear every breath she made that night. He couldn't sleep as he waited anxiously for dawn to break, he was eager to watch the worthless people of Agasah die with their queens. He was awake all through the night and when dawn broke he walked out of his tent to see the beyond the mountains where the battle between the queens would occur.
