His sword and Gabriel Brown's sword clashed. Apart from attacking Edmund, Gabriel also used his black magic to attack Ethan Askary, Helios Rune Abelavish, and Claude Sylvester. He also created several monsters with his black magic. The monsters were made to attack Ethan and the others so they wouldn't interfere with his fight with the Duke.
