"Where is the Duchess?"
Edmund Gerwyn had never felt so tired like this before. All this time, even though he was at war, fighting many monsters, and not sleeping for several days, he would not feel this tired. But, with all matters involving the safety of Penelope Askary and the twins, Edmund always felt tired every day. That doesn't mean he's tired of protecting the people he loves. He was tired of always feeling uneasy and afraid that the safety of Penelope and the twins would be threatened.
"The Duchess is in her room, Your Grace," Sarah answered. The woman smiled when she saw Edmund kiss the twins' forehead and cheeks, as did Rosaline. "Mm, Your Grace, if I may be permitted to ask, has the woman who hurt the Duchess been punished?"
"Of course. You don't need to worry," said Edmund. "She will never hurt Penelope again in the future."
