Penelope Askary's greeting made Edmund Gerwyn harden his jaw and clench his hands at his sides.
"Who are you?!" shouted the Duke in a sharp tone.
Penelope Askary laughed. The woman, who was floating in the air, slowly descended and stood on the bed. Then, Penelope jumped to the floor and tossed her hair back. Penelope crossed her arms and then tilted her head while pointing at herself.
"Me? I am Penelope Askary. I am the esteemed Duchess of this empire and also your beloved wife, Duke Edmund."
Edmund laughed mockingly and snorted. "Do you think you can trick me? Your body may be my wife's body but your soul is not! Tell me, who are you?!"
"Heh," Penelope chuckled. The woman clapped and nodded. "You are right. I am amazed at you because you can recognize that I am not Penelope Askary so easily. How could that be?"
