Today was Penelope's second day of being held captive in the mansion surrounded only by the sea.
Philleo Aaron had not given Penelope food for two days. The man only gave the Duchess a drink. Of course, humans can still live even if they only drink water but in Penelope's case, she needs food for the child she is carrying. And now, Penelope felt her stomach hurt so much. The woman winced in pain while holding her stomach and started to have difficulty breathing. Cold sweat was running down her beautiful face which was starting to turn pale. Penelope also started crying.
"Calm down, Penelope Askary," the woman muttered to herself. "You'll be fine. You're a strong woman. You can hold on until Edmund Gerwyn comes to save you. If you can survive, if you stay strong, then your child will be safe." Penelope rubbed her stomach. Penelope even bit her lip because she couldn't stand the pain in her stomach.
