Archer looked into Eveline's sparkly red eyes as he nodded. ''Yes, we've known each other since we were seventeen. It's not like we're strangers, Eve. We used to meet before I became too busy.''
The rabbit woman's face blossomed into a radiant smile and sparkling eyes. She leaned forward; her plump lips meeting his in a kiss full of warmth. He held her slim waist as she turned to face him just as a knock rang out through the room.
Eveline looked up with narrowed eyes as she stood up and spoke, ''I'll go get it. Stay there handsome.''
Archer watched her approach the door and open it only to see a female member of staff standing there with an innocent expression. When he saw this, the hair on the back of his neck stood up, causing him to cast a Mana Blast into the woman's chest.
