"Time to get some experience points," Aryan said, gripping the wood club with his one hand while providing enough heat in his "silver claws" that it doesn't illuminate red.
Soon, a goblin reached in front of Aryan while swinging its club towards him.
"Ding!!"
The sound of metal hitting was heard as Aryan grabbed the club from his left hand, stopped it midway, and swung the club in his right hand, targeting the goblin's head.
"Bang!!"
Black blood gushed out of the goblin's nose and mouth as its small body was sent flying towards his allies before it disappeared into the smoke.
[Quick Status]
Level 2 Progress: 65%
HP: 85% MAGIC: 96%]
A smile appeared on Aryan's face as he slightly glared at the progress bar. But it didn't stop him from charging towards his enemies, who were coming towards him.
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
[Progress 68%]
[Progress 71%]
Although there were quite a lot of goblins for him, there were about 45 to 50 of them, but thanks to Sen and Aahana covering his back, he was able to take down a goblin or two from time to time.
As for Drake, he was in a league of his own.
His two short swords imbued with wind magic were cutting through goblins as if they were butter through a hot knife. Far from the need for backup, this depressed guy from a minute ago was slaughtering half of the goblin tribe by himself.
"This world is so cruel for you monsters... I understand your constant pain, your constant suffering," Drake said in a sad voice, as if he were almost shading tears for the goblin's loss.
But soon his sad look turned into a creepy smile as he jumped towards the goblin tribe chief sitting on a hog "But the only way you can live peacefully is to accept your death."
Drake started to laugh like a maniac while black blood and black fog filled the air. At this point, Aryan was just standing still as he saw the guy next to him laughing more monstrously than the monsters themselves.
"The only good goblins are dead goblins; now let me make you good goblins good. WAHAHAHAHAH. WAHAHAHA.." Drake laughed before the goblin chief was cut clean and evaporated into black smoke.
"Bro!! I am having some serious doubts here." Aryan whispered, moving closer to Sen.
"Where in the hell did you get this maniac from?" Aryan asked while a cold sweat ran down his forehead.
"Ahh... Well, I was kind of low on the budget yesterday, so, ahh, I thought I would hire someone from the dark web for cheap. Well, he is working fine at least!" Sen replied, looking at Aryan with a nervous smile.
"Trust me, bro, if we ever make it out of this place alive, then I will deal with you personally." Aryan replied, looking at Sen with an innocent smile.
EONE SAYS #5: Never doubt the quality of the product when you purchase it from the dark web. It always does its job.
It didn't even take a few minutes before Drake cleared the ground and a notification appeared on their screen.
[Ding! Goblin Crypt floor 3 has been cleared.
[Reward: +150 crypto coins]
While done with killing all the goblins, Drake lazily came back to where the group was standing.
"Shall we move to the next floor?" Drake asked as he looked at Sen with the same emotionless, sleepy eyes as earlier. While the other could only gulp as he nodded in agreement.
The group moved towards the fourth floor of the goblin crypt, which looked almost the same as the third floor except for the fact that there were goblin archers present along with goblin fighters. While Aryan and Sen could easily handle goblin archers with their combo, Drake was slicing through the goblins as usual.
-Damnit! If I keep up like this, I won't be able to get any experience points out of this mission. Although Aryan was feeling pissed off inside, he was expecting this kind of situation and was even prepared for it.
-No worries! "I will just have to use that way," Aryan thought internally as a smirk appeared on his face.
[Ding! Floor 4 of the Goblin Crypt has been cleared.

"Alright, guys, we will take a little bit of rest here before we move to the boss floor. This will also be our last floor for today before we go back to the city." Aahana announced in a loud voice before she went to sit on a wood log near the goblin hut.
"Did she get tired so fast!?" Aryan asked Sen in a low voice while sitting near him.
"We are warriors, so we don't feel exhausted this early, but magicians, on the other hand, can't fight on the frontline for too long due to their excessive mana consumption." Sen continued looking towards Aahana.
"And that's why she is resting before we fight the boss."
Sen was still explaining a few things to Aryan before he was interrupted by Drake coming towards them.
"Guys!! You wouldn't mind if I sat along with you, right?" Drake continued in his emotionless, lazy, and slow voice, looking towards them. "I just don't like to be left alone; it tickles me the wrong way."
"Sure, bro, why not?"
Aryan and Sen sat down, making a seat for him, while a cold sweat ran down their necks.
There were a few minutes of awkward silence before Aahana stood up from her seat.
"If you all are ready, then we are ready to go to the next floor." Aahana looked at the three of them as she asked.
"I am ready; let's go," Sen said, standing up.
"That makes three of us," Aryan said as he picked up a spear from a fallen goblin. Drake didn't say anything; he just stood up and gripped his dual blades tightly.
"Let's go," Aahana said, entering the red portal first while the others followed after.
Inside the fifth floor was a dark cave with a few torches illuminating the wall.
In the centre of the room was what looked like a broken throne made of wood, and a few humanoid skulls decorated its armrest.
For everyone here, the biggest disadvantage was looking into the darkness, but for Aryan, due to his passive skill, it was still as clear as daylight, if not better.
"Geerrrrrggggghhhhhhh"
A small groan was heard from behind the throne when suddenly...
"Dodge it," Aryan said as he pushed Aahana just to avoid an upcoming spere by a narrow margin, but the other two of the group weren't lucky enough.
"Tinnnnnnnn!"
An ear-stinging sound reverberated throughout the room as a spare penetrated through Drake's stomach. The force of the sand itself was enough to throw Drake's body a few metres before pinning him to the cave wall.
"Drake!!"
Sen yelled, looking at Drake's body pinned on the ground, covered in red blood gushing out of it.
"Fireball!"
Aryan didn't let the situation distract him and shot three fireballs successively at the wooden throne.
"Boom!Boom!Boom!"
The fireballs blasted into the big wooden throne, turning it into a mass of fire and scattering it everywhere.
Just as the fire caught the throne, a faceless, 8-foot-tall, muscular goblin revealed itself, holding a big wooden club in his hand and a spear on his back. His body was covered with bone bracelets and necklaces, while a wide grin uncovered his yellow teeth.
"It's a hobgoblin."
