Chapter 20 - I levelled up- Level 2

BOOM!BOOM!BOOM!

Three consecutive fireballs hit the centre of the aim board, making the already red centre of it even more red hot.

"Huff, huff...." Aryan, who was 30 metres away from the aim board, was now taking long breaths on the ground. It's been two days since he has been practising a different set of exercises to train his body and skills. Except for food and sleep, Aryan only took occasional breaks where Rimuru would use basic healing on him. This process gave his body enough repair time that one would get from a week of rest on Earth. With his Aryan understanding of the human body and magic, he was able to pull off feats in 2 days that would take a normal person on Earth around 6 months of constant training.

The Aryan body was in the shape of someone like an athlete's, and the change in his strength and physique was visible to the naked eye. but his contract binding skill also evolved due to the constant use of Rimuru magic on him.

Aryan opened a water bottle and poured it all down on his body as he commanded. "Check Status".

Aryan hadn't seen his status in a while, and he was quite surprised at the development he made. "Man !! I need to do something about my agility; also, my IQ increased quite a bit. Is it because my knowledge of two worlds gives me a better understanding of the universe? "Who knows.." Aryan, while scratching his chin, looked at Rimuru.

"GIIYUU??" Rimuru asked with a curious voice.

"Umm-hmm. Let me check your status too " Aryan nodded in response to Rimuru's question as he took out his magic desk to scan the green slime.

"Am I dreaming or what?" Aryan screamed at the top of his lungs after looking at the screen in front of him.

"Giyuuuu!!" Rimuru bounced across the room, sensing Aryan's excitement.

"I thought passive skills were some useless crap, but this... today has to be the lucky day." "Aryan eyes were sparkling and a smile extended to his ears ' as he said those words.

"Ding dong!! Sir, your paid time has ended. Would you like to extend the plan again?" a robotic voice asked in the room.

"No need, just give me a minute; I need to pack some things," Aryan said before snapping his finger as Rimuru turned into light particles and flew towards Aryan.

Aryan changed into his normal clothes and left the room. Then he walked towards Whale's store near the adventure guild.

It was a time of evening; the sun was shining on the horizon, making the sky red, as birds returned to their homes, chirping and singing the lullaby of nature, while children were being dragged home from the playground by their parents.

Looking around the streets, Aryan sighed as he stood in front of big wooden gates.

"Uncle Whales, it's me!" The bargaining boy I am here for some business and stuff." Aryan shouted at the top of his lungs towards the shop.

Inside the shop:

Whales almost spit the tea out, shocked by the loud voice of Aryan.

"I am dwarf, not deaf, you cocky little ba*tard. Just wait for your death to come outside." The dwarf mumbled, cleaning his face with a piece of hankie, as he heard three knocks and a loud voice again.

"You here, old man? Or do I need to come again tomorrow?"

"Coming," the dwarf said, moving from his chair and walking towards the door.

"What in the hell do you want now?" The dwarf asked in an annoyed tone, looking at Aryan.

Aryan, who was just smiling so far. His face changed into one of seriousness as he spoke in a deep voice. "I need you to make me a weapon. A certain specific one."

"A weapon, you ask?" The dwarf asked in a surprised yet curious voice.

"Yes"

***************************

Aryan just went to his rented room after asking for some details about the dungeon from Lesia.

Aryan right now was collecting information about small wolves from MagiPedia, their strength, their weakness, and what is the best way to kill them.... Especially when they attack in a group of four or five of them.

Although there were many formations and plans to counter small wolves, it was all done for a party or group of at least five people.

"This is the wrong way; this won't work like that." Aryan muttered as he lay on his bed, looking at the ceiling. " If the dungeon is really an artefact given by God to make humans strong, then there must be reasons for making it this tough. It's similar to your teacher preparing mock tests for you so that you can perform well in finals, but instead, you cheated with the help of other students; this may increase your marks for practise tests, but when the real exam comes, you have already failed."

"There must be some way... Some possibility to clear the floor alone." Aryan woke up from bed and started to walk around his room. "There must be something. Something that I am missing. Need to think fast, fast, fast".

Aryan's speed of walking around his room kept getting faster as his thinking became more and more intense.

Suddenly, an idea lit up in his head as he stopped moving and his eyes opened wide. "This is it... It's so basic. So basic that anyone would ignore it. Ha-ha ... Ha-ha ... Hahaha haha... Hahahahhahah " Aryan laughed at his stupidity and summoned Rimuru to his table.

"Listen well, buddy. I am going to level up to level 2 tomorrow." Aryan said with a grin on his face,
