Galan frowned and muttered "Noisy." the green haired boy laughed "Haha." and smashed Luffy's face through the table, saying "Sorry, Sir!" Luffy bounced back up and looked at Galan, asking "Anyway! You're strong, mister! Wanna fight?"
The longnose boy's soul flew out of his body and the green haired boy froze, Olvia covered her mouth and squinted in amusement, her eyes curving into crescents. She really liked Luffy, he seemed to make everything happy by just being there.
She looked at Galan and sighed to herself sadly, maybe if Luffy was there when Galan was younger, he wouldn't have to suffer so much… Her eyes became sad as she looked at Galan caringly.
Galan turned to Luffy, who was smiling at him like an idiot. He was reminded of Garp and remembered that Garp hadn't been answering his calls recently… He raised a hand and chopped on Luffy's head, smashing him into the ground.
Luffy crumpled like a cupcake, his eyes 'X's with his tongue out.
Galan turned back to his empty plate and sipped on his whiskey as Luffy sprang back up and said in shock "Oh wow! Almost as strong as Grandpa!" Galan's eyes twitched and Olvia widened her eyes, looking at Luffy like he was a treasure.
She grabbed him and said "Monkey-chan! Would you like to become a Marine?!" Luffy was stunned and frowned, shouting "No! I'm a pirate! I'm the man who'll become the King of the Pirates!" Olvia sighed and let him go, turning to her food, poking at it sadly.
Sanji flew out, kicking Luffy in the head, sending him flying as he shouted angrily "How can you make Robin-chwan sad!" before turning to Olvia smiling calmly "I will become a Marine with you, Miss Robin-chwan~"
Olvia sighed and ignored him. Sanji ran over and started stepping on Luffy, cursing "You idiot! Baka! Loser! Bastard! Asshole…"
The chefs started talking about what happened to Krieg's ship and Gin shed some light, saying it was a single man with 'Eyes like a Hawk'. Zeff said "Ah, you probably met Hawkeye… Or ruined his nap." Gin shouted angrily "How could you say that!? My comrades died!"
Zeff nodded, "I'm serious. Things like these happen all the time on the Grandline."
Luffy sighed "What a magical place! I can't wait to go!" The green haired boy smirked and leaned back, "Hm. So that's where I have to go. To the Grand Line and find that man." Sanji smoked and looked at them saying "You're fools. You'll be killed as soon as you get there."
The green haired boy snorted, retorting "True enough. But don't insult us." Sanji glanced at him as he continued "The day I decided to become the World's Greatest Swordsman, I gave myself up for dead. Nobody calls me a fool but me. I have my reasons."
Galan glanced at him before turning to see Olvia staring at him tenderly. He frowned and continued drinking, why was she always looking at him like that… So annoying! Olvia giggled at his annoyed look and continued looking at him on purpose.
Before anyone could do anything, there were shouts outside along with loud sounds!
Galan looked at the green haired kid, saying "Hey, kid." The green haired kid looked at him and Galan pointed outside saying "Mihawk is here." The green haired guy froze and ran out quickly, shooting off the ground, holding his swords.
Olvia looked at Galan teasingly, saying "Took a liking?" Galan replied slowly "I don't know what you're talking about." as he finished his glass and took out his wallet. Olvia looked at him and suddenly worried "Oh no… We never got the prices!"
Galan frowned, "An issue…" as everyone ran out of the restaurant quickly to see the commotion.
Galan frowned deeply "How are we supposed to pay…" Olvia's beautiful face frowned with a troubled look, making people worry about her, as she replied "Just leave some money, I guess…" Galan looked at her and asked "How much?" Olvia looked worried "I don't know… 10,000?"
Galan furrowed his brows, "10,000 Beli for a single meal… That's a bit outrageous." Olvia replied worriedly, "But the waiter was so nice, we should leave a tip. Just leave 15,000 just in case." Galan counted on his hand, muttering "Unbelievable. 15,000 for a single meal. So expensive." Olvia raised a finger, saying seriously "It's better to overpay, the chefs work very hard."
Galan muttered in reply "I guess so." as he left 15,000 Beli on the table. Olvia hesitated before adding another 5000 Beli, frowning "Just in case." Galan nodded and said "Good." before standing up and walking to the door.
Olvia finished her wine and followed him, both plates empty with 20,000 Beli on the table.
She ran over and hugged Galan's arm, seeing debris from Krieg's ship everywhere.
Galan looked at Mihawk stopping the green haired boy's three sword play with a tiny knife. Olvia whispered "This is Mihawk, is that boy going to die here?" Galan watched as Luffy said in shock "Zoro!" two more people said in shock "He-He stopped Brother Zoro's Onigiri with just that small knife!?"
Galan replied slowly "Outclassed and Outmuscled… Mihawk's title isn't something the Navy gave him. He challenged thousands of Swordsmen to duels and trained his entire life before taking that title. He wasn't named, he earned the title." everyone heard Galan's words and were stunned, staring at Mihawk as though he was a monster.
Luffy turned and asked "Mister! Isn't he a pirate?" Galan frowned slightly and replied "Not exactly… If you were to label him, he would be moreso a wandering Swordsman than a Pirate. He's killed many people, however all these people were either in duels or evil pirates who murder innocent people. However the Government doesn't have a classification for these types of people, thus labels them as pirates."
A chef muttered "Every pirate is an evil pirate…" Galan frowned and glanced at the man, making him fall down in fear before turning back to the fight. Zeff raised a brow and rubbed his chin, muttering "If I remember correctly… Your epithet should be Black Raven, right?"
Galan ignored him and Zeff nodded, "I thought so. Then it makes sense." Luffy looked over in confusion asking "Huh?" Zeff looked at him and said with a chuckle "That man… He's probably killed more people than you've ever seen, kid."
Everyone froze and turned to Zeff, who looked at Mihawk, reminiscing "There used to be a saying when I was in the Grand Line, I heard it while sailing. 'It's better to surrender to the Marines than to get caught by the Black Raven. The Black Raven brings death whether it flies and anyone caught in its beak won't even have bones to bury.' I thought it was just a legend since nobody had seen the Black Raven for a long time. But the rumors I heard was a tall man with dead eyes that could determine life and death."
Everyone looked at Galan, who stood there expressionlessly as though Zeff was talking about someone else. The Chefs started shivering in fear and Luffy was stunned, frowning "So you're a bad guy!" Galan ignored him and the longnosed boy covered Luffy's mouth, trembling in intense fear.
Zeff chuckled and continued "Not really!" Luffy looked at him and Zeff snorted "This was just hearsay, but… I witnessed it first hand. People all over the Blues and Grand Line telling their little eggplants bedtime stories of the Black Raven. Telling them if they did evil things the Black Raven would come for them but if they were good kids they would be saved. The people I met all loved him."
Olvia hugged Galan's arm, smiling happily as he frowned in annoyance. Luffy was confused and didn't understand, "So he's a good guy?" The longnosed buy said in shock "But he killed all those people!"
Zeff glanced at him and snorted, "Which one of them wasn't a pure scum through and through? According to the people, the Black Raven saved many people and only killed the evil ones." Longnose boy argued "Who's to say? He judged them himself!"
Galan glanced at him and the boy shivered, raising his hands up in surrender, saying stiffly "Oh my god, I'm so sorry, Mister Black Raven, sir." Galan turned back, not bothering to explain, it never mattered how people saw him.
