Chapter 403 - Gaining Prestige

When he arrive, he was about to find the same receptionist when a woman with short black hair intercepted him. She is wearing the guild's staff clothing, and stopped right in front of him.

"Are you mister Ryker?" when he nodded, the woman smiled at him.

"Hello, my name is Catherine, I will be your overseer for as long as you remained in Birak Capital City," Ryker's brows slightly raised at the proclaimation.

"Is this the order of the Branch Leader?" he asked.

"Well, yes and no," seeing his black face, she explained, "It is supposed to be someone you already met, but he need to go elsewhere, so, instead, he recommended me to be your overseer,"

Ryker nodded before asking again, "Does the Branch Leader want to see me?" seeing the woman nodded, he said, "Lead the way,"

-x-

"So, you have return," the Leader exclaimed, watching as Ryker come inside his office, being accompanied by the youngest staff they had that reach the Genesis Sea realm.

"Yes, do you want to hear my reports?" he asked.

"Of course, I like to hear what is the answers to all the mysteries of the missions?" the man said with a guffaw.

"Leader, you do realize said mysteries had led to many promising adventurers meeting their ends, right?" one of the Vice-Leader, with long black hair, exclaimed.

"True, but we won't be able to do anything about it if we don't know what we are dealing with," the other Vice-Leader, with brown hair tied in a ponytail, replied.

"Let's listed to the young man report first," the Leader said.

The three looked at him expectantly, as Ryker began to rummage through his storage rings.

"First, about the mystery lake inside Birak Forest," he took out a lotus flower out. "A lotus flower beast that seemed to specialize in Soul is responsible, with a little mastery in the Law of Water so it could move around, as it seem to be an aquatic plant beast,"

"Second, the creatures digging holes all over the west of Birak Hills," a large mole was thrown out, "A peak Genesis Beast of the mole beast family is responsible. It seem to attract other beasts as well as humans by digging a hole across the place and lead them to treasure location under the hills.

Once inside, it trapped its victim before using the elements to kill them, or killing them itself. Have a powerful mastery of Law of Earth,"

"Third, a swarm of Gold Winged Eagle, a group Tier 9 Genesis Beast with it's leader at the being peak Genesis Beast," he threw the body of the eagle without a care, causing the Branch Leader's eyes to twitch.

"Mastery of Law of Wind and Metal. Slightly troublesome because it can fly, so I make sure they don't," his mastery of Law of Gravity help him in that one.

"Then, the fourth one, the loss of multiple people entering the eastern part of Birak Forest. The culprit is a lizard beast that can changed it's color and hide it's presence," another carcass thrown out.

"It is a peak Genesis Beast, that seem to have a slight grasp at creating a domain but seem to not be able to maintain it, so I don't consider it to be at Half-Noble realm. I am not sure of what Path it tread on, but it is troublesome opponent,"

"The fifth one is the moving rocks at the eastern part of Birak Forest as well. It is a parasitic insect beast swarm that control the Boulder-Shelled Tortoises there," this time, he took out a small parasitic insect, looking a like a mix of cockroach and centipede, causing Catherine to shiver.

"I take them out and let the tortoise live," "The tortoises still alive?" the ponytail Vice-Leader exclaimed in shock.

"Yeah, it surprise me too. The parasitic insects is merely at the 1st to 3rd Stage Genesis Sea equivalent with the leader being at the 5th Stage, the tortoise beast is at the 9th and above so there is no surprise that it could bring down all the adventurers inspecting it,"

"Moving on, the sixth mystery is a giant monkey beast. A Spirit Beast to be exact," the body of the monkey beast was thrown, with it residual might showing it is a Spirit Beast while it still alive.

"Slightly annoying but it only has a strong body, while showing little mastery of any Path," Ryker explained before giving the last of mission crystal to the Guild Branch Leader.

"As for the 7th mission, the beast possessed strength of 3rd Stage Noble expert, so I have to run as fast as I can. However, I managed to observe it and determine some of it characteristic. The more detail version is inside the mission crystal.

I will give you the summarized one. The beast is a snake beast. It located at the south of Birak Forest, just in the deeper part. It took refuge in a giant tree, and usually slumber inside it. Sometime it will come out and coiled around the tree itself.

It possessed mastery of Lore of Poison and Law of Nature. That is all I manage to find out that will not take too long to explain. The rest is inside like I tell you,"

The Guild Branch Leader nodded before putting his hand towards Ryker. Understanding what he is asking for, Ryker removed his badge and gave it to the older man.

The older man accepted it and began to add two more diamonds on it.

"This should do," he then gave the badge back to Ryker.

"Your contribution these past few days is incomparable to even some of our weaker Noble Realm adventurers. For that, we will give you several more rewards in addition to completing six 'impossible' missions as well as giving us a detailed report of the Spirit Beast. And for killing the beasts as most of the missions had been changed to gathering intel.

Do you wish to collect your rewards for the missions or wait until later so you can collect it alongside the additional rewards?" the older man asked.

Ryker though about before deciding. "I think I will wait until after senior determined my rewards," he answered.

"Understood. At the very least, you will be given a huge amount of contribution points for completing the missions," the Guild Branch Leader said.

"Thank you, I will take my leave for now," he then left the office, leaving the four people behind.

"Leader, those he really did all of that? Completing the impossible missions that had not been accomplished by even Half-Noble adventurers," Catherine asked, clearly shocked.

"Yes, besides, you could feel the aura too, am I correct?" she nodded slowly, still in disbelief of what just happened.
