Chapter 396 - Shocking The Guards

As Ryker returned, in his hands are the head of the bounty hunters, the guards all looked at him in shock. The Crown Prince merely smiled before asking the guards,

"Do you think I make a mistake in taking him under me?" he asked loudly, to the embarrassment of some of the guards, who had been adamant on their dislike on the young man.

Yet, he was able to defeat a half-Noble expert. There are three other half-Noble experts in the guards, one of whom had been against Ryker, and even trying to show off to his women, hoping to take one or two as his own.

Yet, seeing him, a mere Genesis Lake expert, defeat a half-Noble expert, broke his pride. He might be stronger than the bounty hunter but the person he hate is only at the Genesis Lake. If he become a Genesis Sea, then would he stand a chance. He don't think so.

"Your Excellency possessed greater sight compared to us all," one of the Noble realm guard exclaimed. While he was not against the Crown Prince, he did question the other man reasoning for taking someone so weak.

Yet, he could see the potential he possessed. If he reached the Noble realm, how powerful would he be?"

The Crown Prince merely nod to the proclamation before walking towards Ryker, who seemed to be checking something. Though, he stopped when a Spirit Giant Tiger blocked his path, the Spirit Beast leaning towards him.

"Looks like you companion beast really adore you," the Crown Prince said, watching how the majestic Spirit Beast, who had killed the two 9th Stage Genesis experts with ease acting more like a house cat than a mighty beast.

"Yes, she is. And thank you Tashirn," he took out several storage rings from the tiger beast mouth, before going all over the place and taking the bounty hunters storage rings.

After done collecting, he smiled at the Crown Prince.

"I think we should get going now, Your Excellency,"

The group soon travel the to a mountain range, when Ryker soon cast his eyes at the tallest mountain.

"What is the name of this mountain range?" he asked.

As Ilun about to answer, the Crown Prince cut her off, "This is call the Biltar Range. This place is one of best place to cultivate and collect all kind of resources. But it also home to some very dangerous beasts, some even are peak Noble Beast,"

As Ilun grumbled about interrupting prince, Ryker keep his eyes at the peak. The Crown Prince gazed at the same peak before coming to a conclusion.

"You want to cultivate here, and reach the Genesis Sea," the man stated. Ryker smiled sheepishly.

"Sure, I don't mind," his words caused Ryker and some of the guards to look at him in shock.

"Your Excellency, we should keep go-" "I say we are going to help him find the best spot that will not kill us all. Vada, you will follow me. Rak, you will stay here and watch over them," the two Noble experts nodded before doing as the prince ordered.

-x-

"You don't have to do this, Your Excellency," Ryker said. After all, he did not want to be indebted to the other man.

"Think of this as an investment from me. If you reach the Genesis Sea, there is a chance you can hold yourself against a Noble expert. To have one more person equivalent of a Noble expert would increase my faction's strength, so you don't need to worry about it," the Crown Prince waved it off.

"If you say so. Then I will not be polite," Ryker reply, before keep flying towards the best location for him to cultivate.

The two accompany him, as they also help expend the search area.

It did not take long before they find a good place for Ryker to cultivate. The bad news is it already have a Spirit Beast claiming the area. The good news is that the guard is far stronger than the beast, sending it running between it's legs.

"This should be a good spot," the Crown Prince said before pointing at the place with the greatest ambient energy.

"Thank you, Your Excellency," he gave a slight bow before focusing on cultivation.

It did not take long for him to concentrate, absorbing the energy of the area as he begin to refine it.

"So, what should we do?" Era asked, feeling slightly bored. The others also don't know what to do, as they were left alone with a group of guard they are not close with.

"I don't know about you, but watching the kids will definitely make you no longer bored, just tired," Hylla offered.

Era let out a strangled laughed, knowing how right she is. The children seem to have endless energy, that seem to be enough to tire even Genesis Condensing expert.

"Yeah, I think I just let the little cub play with the children," she decided to let the job of dealing with the children on the little cub.

Tashirn merely lie down, watching the children on her child playing with happiness. She did eyed some of the guards, who gave her the wrong aura.

The only reason why she did not act on her instinct is because of Ryker's order. She felt someone touching her ears. A look up showed Mashia busy playing with her ear.

She let her, even feeling more relax though her Soul Sense was release to make sure nothing escape her sense. With her strength and the other Noble expert, there should be no being that can threaten them, as the Noble expert exudes an aura she could tell surpass even her companion's strongest woman, who did not join them in their journey.

She lie down. If they need her help, the will ask for it or scream.

"Young Master, the bounty hunters die," one of Eugin's servant told him, making him splurt his drink.

 "How?! When?!" he asked.

"We are not sure on how but we can assure you this is a recent development. Their life candle were extinguished, so there is no way for them to be alive anymore," one of servant told him.

"Grrgh, how much is in my personal coffer?" he suddenly asked.

"Not enough to hire any bounty hunters with the same credibility and strength of Dark Scavanger," the servant said truthfully.

"Argh!" he yelled, clearly angered by it.

Eugin soon calm down, taking deep great as he knew he might not be the most favourable anymore.

"Do you think those rabble's can handle them?" he asked.

"I am not sure nut he might have a very powerful companion to be able to kill the bounty hunters,"
