Chapter 392 - Getting Pursued By Bounty Hunters

"Young master, the two men you sent, their life candle had die out," Eugin's hand gripped his glasses so hard, it shatter, the shards cutting his hands but he did not care for it.

"How? Those two are at the peak of Genesis Lake!" he yelled. The two men would have beat him if they work together. Though, it is mostly because his own cultivation is at the 9th Stage. If it reached the peak, he believe he can defeat the two even when they worked together.

"Sophia must have help him reached the 9th Stage, maybe even the peak," he guessed correctly, not that anyone can tell.

"How much is in my personal coffer?" he asked his servant.

As the servant voiced out the numbers, he did a quick calculation before giving the next order. The servant's eyes went wide before nodding in understanding, doing what his master ordered.

"Do you think we will be attacked again?" the Crown Prince asked, enjoying the time traveling. After all, there is no need to worry about being backstab, or front stab. Compared to dealing with politics and making sure his influence remained and not destroyed by his brothers and cousins attempt in undermining him, this is nice change of pace.

"Maybe, but for how long, that is up to guess. After all, they might not able to track us down. There must be other caravans in the area as well," Ryker said.

"Make sense, but considering you are dealing with a son of a noble, a Duke at that, don't think such thing. Better to be prepared. After all, while there are some sane and kind noble children, there are more that is insane and would do anything to get whatever they want, like some entitled brat," the Crown Prince warned.

"I assume you are the former, then," Ryker teased the man.

"Hey, I am good for you, aren't I?"

 "That is up for debate,"

"So, are all of you here?" Eugin asked, his eyes falling on the group of merceneries he had employed.

'The Dark Scavanger, famous for being a group filled with distinguished bounty hunters, more than capable of dealing with a mere Genesis Lake,' he thought inside his head.

Even with some Genesis Sea guards, he could tell if his side try to fight the group in front of him, they will lose. However, the bounty hunters in front of him are sane enough to not do such thing. After all, they did not want to be killed by a Noble realm expert.

"Yes, and tell me why you want all of us here. After all, hiring one of us is more than one can afford. Hire all of us at once, you need enough money to feed an entire village for a month or so," the leader said, the man nicknamed Blood Vulture.

"Yes, I am well aware of your reputation, from how accomplish you are, to how high the price to hire even a single one of you. But I can assure you, I can afford it," two of his servants enter the room while carrying a chest.

They put it on top of a table before Eugin opened the chest. The bounty hunters all whistled at the amount of golds inside.

"Well, this is a lot, but this is not enough to hire all of us, maybe three of our weaker members or so," the leader said, making the younger man glad for the way the Dark Scavanger works.

While they work in the Underworld, they at least have standards. They will not cheat the person who hire them. In fact, their agents broadcast the cost to hire any one of the members, and the price did not change, only changing if the missions are more difficult than expected.

There is some cases of people refusing to pay them, but the said people are now dead, being used as a message to anyone who wanted to hire them. They might be ruthless, but they get the job done, with almost one-hundred percent in success rate, the only time they failed is when their target is protected by a Noble expert.

"This, is merely the deposit," he smiled in satisfaction at seeing their shocked look. "Like I said, I want to hire you and I am being serious with my words. This is before doing the job, if you choose to accept it. You can claim the rest after you returned with the target's head,"

"So, who do you want dead?" the leader asked, looking at the younger man in appreciation. If only more of their employers are like him.

"This person," Eugin took out a projection crystal, one that his men managed to get after stalking him.

"He is merely a Genesis Sea expert, though I am not certain of his current stage. Also, he light have some life-saving talismans, with some powerful items in his possession, so beware of those. Also," he decided to throw more bone at the dogs in front of him.

"He have a lot of women with him," he then took out more projection crystals, each containing the pictures of different women, all of them are Ryker's lovers.

"If you kill him, you can do whatever you want with them," he told them, the bounty hunters already looking at the pictures lasciviously.

"Why do I feel the sudden urge to kill a lot of people right now?" Ryker muttered, as he feel himself being filled with desire to kill people he never seen before.

"Our employer really want the brat to die," one of the bounty hunters said. In his hand, a compass, one that show a person whereabouts, living or dead.

They are currently searching for the place the two of Eugin's servants die, to find out the whereabouts of their target.

Unfortunately, it is not something their employer knew, which is usually what all their previous employers did, expecting them to catch the targets without knowing their whereabouts. They managed to do it, but it still troublesome.

However, that is where the simalirity die. He offer them a special compass, one that already refine to point to it's new target, the bodies or residual aura of the two servants.

It did not take long before they find the place, their eyes scanning the area. They soon find something worthwhile.

"Looks like this one die with a single hit," the bounty hunter said.

"Search for more clues. I want to be certain this is it, and this is the trace we looking for," the leader said.

The other bounty hunters spread out and soon bring in more evidence of the clash. The leader nodded before giving it one of his man, Bone Hyena. The man are capable of extracting different residue auras, and then detecting the source. He soon extract one aura before putting it in the compass.

As the man refine it, the compass spin like crazy before pointing at a certain direction. Knowing their targets whereabouts, they sprint, eager to claim their prize.
