Chapter 367 - City Wide Search

As both Ryker and Miriam woke up, they did a quick stretch before going out to the cafe section of the inn.

"Things sure got crazy last night," Ryker said, taking a sip of the drink, tea if he remembered it right. The drink has a certain flavor and he could not help but like it.

"Yes, but surely everything will go back to normal," just as she finished her sentence, they heard people speaking.

"Have you heard, that all of the Noble Families in this city are searching for something, or someone is more like it?"

"Really, why? Did the poor sod steal something from them or something?"

"No. They win something big in the Elkom City Grand Auction, and those families want to claim the thing for themselves,"

"Damn, how I don't want to be those poor sods,"

The poor sods in question put their hands on their faces, groaning, "Forget what I said," Miriam exclaimed, rubbing her temple as she could feel a headache forming.

They finished their drinks and breakfast before leaving the inn, calmly leaving the place even though the same could not be said inside.

"So, do you think they have ways to find the seed?" Miriam asked, the two are in a bookstore, leaning to one another as they pretend to browse the books.

"Probably not, but that would not stop them from oppressing the people and ordering them to hand over their storage rings and having their items checked," Ryker told her, earning a groan from the blonde.

As if to not give them a break, they heard the door slammed open. "This is the Torue Family! We are going to check your possessions! Someone just stole something belonging to my Torue Family and we are here to find it!"

If not for him not wanting to be found, he would rolled his eyes so hard they could even feel it.

As the Torue Family checked the others, the two remained behind the shelves, not wanting to look like a suspect by trying to leave the premises.

Soon, the Torue Family reached them. Not bothering to fight them, the two gave the family members their storage rings.

After checking it, along with some of their possession, they were let go. Pretending to be outraged, they left the bookstore, with one of the men whistling, his eyes on Miriam's rear.

A powerful Soul descended towards the man, sending him into a shock before he fainted, causing the rest of the Torue Family to run towards him, checking on the man.

"I think you are overreacting," Miriam said, pinching his waist.

"No, I am not. That man should have not to ogle my lover," he said his arms draping over her.

"Only I can do that," Miriam playfully rolled her eyes, earning her a poke to her side, causing her to shriek.

As the couple teased one another, the entirety of the city underwent an oppressive inspection.

"Looks like this district is clear,"

 "Nothing here,"

 "There is nothing over here,"

 "Here is the last house,"

"Open up, we come-" "to do an inspection, just come inside and don't yell, it is a pain to hear yelling at any part of the day," a young voice said, opening the door and revealing Esran, who looked at the coming personal with boredom.

"Come inside and don't cause trouble," he warned them.

"Or what?" one of the men sneered.

"Or I will feed you to Tashirn," a growl echoed from inside before a Spirit Giant Tiger strode towards Esran's side.

"So, do you want to behave or-" Judging from how their legs are trembling, they agree to behave.

-x-

"So, you want to check us and see if there are any treasures belonging to your family, the Eletor Family?" Ina asked properly. The group in front of them nodded while shivering, Tashirn looking at them like they were her lunch.

"Good, just don't cause any trouble or mess with any of the women here, or we will feed you to her," the Spirit Giant Tiger licked its lip, seemingly not against such an idea.

The group from the Eletor Family nodded like crazy, fearful of the Spirit Beast that seemed ready to pounce at them the moment they looked weirdly at the women inside the house.

-x-

'Whoever has all of the women inside this house, he must be the luckiest person ever,' was what the group checking the house thought.

(At another cafe, a dual-haired man sneezes, wondering why he did so)

All of the women inside are great beauties, with curves just at the right spot, beautiful faces, and myriads of bodies. Some have big breasts and big buttocks. Some only have their rear big but small breast.

The different beauties inside the house would have made any man envy the children's older brother.

Some of the men thought of using their identity to force the women to come with them but a growl reminded them of the terrifying protector of this house, looking like any of them was just one step away before being its lunch.

After searching the entire house and finding nothing, to their great relief, they did not wish to be eaten by the beast, and the entire group decided to not extend their stay. Definitely not because they are afraid of the Spirit Beast that constantly looks at them like they were snacks, honest.

"You don't find the thing you are looking for?" one of the women, one of brown hair tied in a ponytail asked them.

"Nothing. We are sorry to intrude," the young master apologized, probably because of his upbringing. Probably because of the very scary Spirit Beast. Oh, who was he kidding, it was definitely because of the Spirit Beast.

"No problem. In fact, you can double-check if you want," none of the men had seen their young master shake his head so fast before leaving the house courageously. Definitely is not afraid or anything.

"Let's not make enemies with the people inside. In fact, send this to the other teams and tell them to not bother this house unless they don't want to leave. And make sure they remember the face of all the women, or the members of my Eletor Family who tried to do anything with them will be tiger food,"

The message was quickly sent to the other teams, with emphasis on there being a Spirit Giant Tiger as the protector of the people inside.

After the message was sent, Eugin could not help but think that for some reason, the children looked similar to someone he might know. He shrugs, it is probably not important anyway.
