Chapter 314 - Luren Family Humiliation

As the Genesis Lake experts converged on the point of origin of the powerful aura, they were met with a shocking sight. One of the elders of the Luren Family, a family known for its arrogance, was currently kneeling and bowing to a Genesis Core junior.

However, a look at the person next to the junior revealed the powerful expert, who seemed to casually emit a powerful aura like it was nothing.

The Ancestor of the Luren Family gulped before bowing to the expert. "Esteemed Senior, may this one ask why you are bullying the elder of my family,"

The man looked at the Ancestor and scoffed. "Teach your elders and the juniors of your family better or I might destroy your entire family," the man said before putting his foot on the elder's head.

The Ancestor felt himself becoming angry but he knew he would not stand a chance against the person in front of him. So, he bowed to the expert once more.

"I apologize for their transgression with you, Esteemed Sir. May I learn of what deed they did to you to earn your ire?" the Ancestor requested once more, using more polite words and seemingly wanting to please him.

Ryker snorted, "Your family's transgressions? First, your young master dared order this master to leave this market and then tried to lay his hand on this master's servant while daring to threaten this master,"

Hearing this, the Ancestor turned paler than snow. With great difficulty, he looked at another person, one he had not seen earlier on the account of being next to the elder and hidden from his sight.

He wanted to slap the boy until all his teeth fell off! To think he would dare order a Genesis Sea expert to do something and even threaten him. It was a surprise the boy was still alive.

"And then, your elder released his aura on me," Just when it could not get any worse, it did get worse. To release one aura to another person, cultivators or not is equivalent to feeling the other parties of you having bad intentions to them.

"While I was not affected, it did cause my servant discomfort and made him kneel to someone else," cold sweat formed on the Ancestor's forehead.

To make a servant of an expert bow to someone else, unless the master did not care for such a thing or if the master ordered it, is the same as slapping the face of the expert in question.

"So, for that insult, I beat him and make him apologize to my servant. A fair exchange if say so myself," the man finished, his foot now finding new footing in the head of the young master of the Luren Family.

While the Ancestor wished to pay the insult his family suffered from the expert, in the end, he decided against it. It is better to swallow the insult than get destroyed by the expert.

Besides, he did not think he would get help from the others, who currently distanced themselves from him, to not get involved if any fight occurred between the Luren Family and the expert.

Even if all of the top factions of the County mobilized against the man, he did not think they could do anything other than give him a scratch or two. The difference in power is just too great after all.

"One more thing," the Ancestor turned towards the source of the voice, giving the expert his most genuine smile yet.

"I want the beast's body back,"

The Ancestor leads the expert, followed by the elder and the young master. When he finished beating them up, they both spotted the Ancestor at the same time and tried to get him to avenge them.

In the end, he slapped them both with enough strength to send a few teeth flying. After all, he did not want his family to be destroyed just for the pride of two people.

When they get close to Luren's Family Mansion, the person who was there to greet the Ancestor pauses. Considering that almost the entirety of the powerhouse of the County had been assembled, it was not much of a surprise.

The only surprise as far as he considers is the fact a young man with rather cheap clothes walked behind the Ancestor, a calm and collective expression plastered on his face.

If the man had appeared in front of him alone, he would have dismissed him. But considering the fact he was brought by the Ancestor, he could not do such a thing.

He let them in, though wondering why they were gathering in the mansion.

"Here is the beast senior," the Ancestor gave the beast body, though not without some heartache. The body of a Tier 8 Genesis Beast is valuable and one that almost broke through Tier 9, but it was more valuable than one could ever imagined.

They already planned to use it to increase their family strength but the circumstances disallowed them from going through the plan.

Well, they do find themselves not destroyed by the expert so it was more agreeable to to them on the account of them not facing any destruction.

Sipping the drink that was prepared by a servant, the expert looked at him in contemplation. He prayed they would not receive his ire anymore but it seemed his wishes would not come true that day.

"And spread the news of the one who killed the beast," when one of them seemed to be ready to oppose its situation, he glared at them, causing the person to shrink, not wanting to earn his ire anymore.

"Yes, we will naturally do that. We were in the wrong for claiming the kill is ours despite not contributing to it and so it is natural for us to admit our wrongdoing," the Ancestor claimed, trying to appease the man in front of him.

"It is good that you know of your mistake. Regarding the one I take-" "Ah, they could be considered our gift to you. Considering you have taken a liking to them both, then we would not stop you," the Ancestor said, hoping it would be good enough.

Thankfully, the expert seemed to find it good enough and did not try to find any more fault in them. After being satisfied with all of his demands, the expert left the Ancestor and the higher-ups of the County.

The higher-ups soon left, leaving the Ancesotrsnwith the high-ranking members of the Family, who voiced one thing that was in their minds, "This is going to harm the reputation of the Luren Family,"
