The Duke of Mizalas, despite being restrained by the Duke of Kilrun, still did not completely surrender, instead hoping to cause some pain to the Duke of Kilrun.
"All of you, ignore me and destroy the city at all cost!" he ordered his men, who seemed to be reluctant but resolved themselves to do it. His son looked at him for a bit longer before flying to do city.
"I do not think you can hold on to me if you do not want to watch your capital destroyed. Either you need to kill me or you release me so you can deal with my force," he tried to provoke the other man.
Yet, despite the provocation, the Duke of Kilrun remained at the spot, staring at the capital with a calm look. "Hey! Do you want to watch your capital destroyed?!" he asked his counterpart, who suddenly laughed at him.
"If it was before, I would be worried. But now, even if my men did not kill any of your Genesis Sea experts, it will not change a thing," the Duke of Kilrun replied, making the Duke of Mizalas let out an intelligent, "huh,".

"Blast the barrier and do not stop until it is destroyed and we can kill the Kilrunian!" the son of Duke exclaimed, being the first one to do it and blasting the barrier with all he got.
The others soon joined him, using their strongest secret techniques to destroy the barrier. To their shock, the barrier, which looked like it was on its last leg yesterday, did not even have a crack, looking like it was even stronger than before.
"I-impossible! Unleashed your strongest attack again!" the son of Duke yelled, the Genesis Sea experts doing as he said. But to their shock and terror, the barrier remains sturdy, blocking all of their attacks with ease.

"H-how! It is on its last leg just yesterday!" the Duke of Mizalas ranted, the Duke of Kilrun taking the chance to laugh loudly, to the aggravation of his defeated foe.
"Of course it was. After all, it is not even in its full capabilities even at the beginning of the siege," the Duke of Kilrun said between his laughter.
"W-what?! Are you saying the formation that could block more than a hundred Genesis Sea experts and several towers designed to break down barriers was not even operating at its best before?!" the Duke of Mizalas exclaimed in shock.
"Yeah, that is right," Duke of Kilrun confirmed it.
"B-but, why would you even do such a thing?" the Duke of Mizalas asked as he could not comprehend the reasoning for doing such a thing.
"You are going to die anyway so what about I let you in on a little secret," the Duke of Kilrun said, the Duke of Mizalas finding himself leaning towards the man.
"I became a Noble expert just yesterday, " the gaping mouth of the Duke of Mizalas showed how surprised the man is by the sudden reveal.
"Also, I never was on the battlefield. Not even during the start of the siege. I spend the entire time under the capital, preparing myself for my ascension to the Noble realm," the reveal gets even more preposterous.
"T-that is impossible! I fought against you on the very first day!" he refuted, not wanting to believe such lies.
"Against me, or someone who impersonated himself as me," the Duke of Kilrun asked, making the Duke of Mizalas find himself with his mouth wide open once again as he thought more about the confrontation.
"You did not master the Law of Death, didn't you?" he asked, the Duke of Kilrun shaking his head.
"I wish I could but the one who impersonated me did, and he still mastered the Law of Earth to the Elementary Understanding realm," he answered, making the Duke of Mizalas let out a mad laugh.
"So, you are telling me if I have used all my strength from the beginning and destroyed the capital with all my forces, then this will not happen?!" the Duke of Mizalas raged on, screaming.
"There is no such thing as if after everything happened. You make your decision and I make mine. Goodbye and see you in the afterlife," the Duke of Kilrun said before clenching his hand.
The Duke of Mizalas exploded into a mist of blood as he was finally killed.
"Now then," the Duke stretched his body, "Let's finish the rest,"
-x-
The son of the Duke of Mizalas gritted his teeth. Despite unleashing their all, the barrier did not once waver. Not even a crack formed on it. The man could feel his teeth cracking. Could this day get any worse?!
"Run, the Duke of Kilrun is rampaging!" one of his Genesis Sea experts yelled before he was turned into a bloody mist.
He turned his head to see the Duke of Kilrun slaughtering the Genesis Sea experts while on occasion attacking the army. Knowing he could not do anything to stop a Noble expert with his strength and his father likely killed by the enemy, he ordered his men to retreat.
When they heard his order, it was like a switch was turned as they began to make a mad dash away from the capital, wanting to escape the fury of a Noble expert.
He followed them, and in fact, he was the first to run away. Despite them running away, the Duke of Kilrun did not chase after them, though it did not make them competent. In fact, they flew even faster as the speed of a Genesis Sea could not be compared to a Noble expert.
As they flew away they did not notice a small tower heading towards them. They only spot it when it passes them before it grows to a humungous size to the point it could be compared to a mountain.
The tower then unleashed a brilliant light, the last thing the man and his subordinates would see.
-x-
"Do they think they can escape from me?" the Duke snorted before summoning his Noble Tower. While he could send it far away, the control he could exert weakened the further the distance.
If there is any other Noble expert this would be a death sentence but considering there are no other Noble experts except for him, he dares to do such a thing.
With the escaping Genesis Sea experts were dealt with, he turned his gaze towards the army of the Mizalas Duke, all of them bowing to him, begging him to not kill them.
Normally, he would not do such a thing but he felt something was wrong with their cultivation. Naturally, he called someone who probably knew something.
When Ryker arrived, he asked, "What is wrong with them?" the young man merely glanced at them before answering.
"They either use a Demoni Art or a Forbidden Art. Either way, they could not be kept alive as they reek of blood, so they likely consumed blood for a living now," he told the Duke, who merely nodded before clenching his fist.
In a matter of seconds, the entirety of the Mizalas Army was destroyed.
