When dawn arrived, the force of Mizalas did not waste their time and began to move against the capital, marching towards the forces of the Kilrun.
In spite of suffering heavy casualties yesterday, they still have plenty of soldiers and using them properly. They had learned their lesson and sent in formation masters along with capable experts to detect any traps.
When there were no traps present, they began to charge towards the capital, their siege engines being the first thing that attacked the walls of the capital.
Several large trebuchets hurled huge boulders, each engraved with enhancement and formations, turning them into more destructive projectiles. Ballistas of varying sizes fired their bolts to the walls, the head of the bolts engraved with markings to allow better penetration.
Yet, even with all of the enhancement to the projectiles, the defensive formation of the capital was able to block all of them, the boulders being destroyed by a blast of light while the bolts were stopped by barriers.
And when the soldiers of the Mizalas arrive at the walls, the Kilrun defenders show what their new and improved formation can truly do.

"They already began flying up the wall, sir," one of the observers told the High Command, who did not seem to be worried.
"They think we would let them do as they please, huh? Well, time to show how unwelcome they are here,"

"Captain, we just got permission to use the killing formations," one of the communication specialists told the captain of one of the sections of the walls.
"It is time already. In that case, let them feel what we can truly do,"

Several battlements, the one closest to the enemy forces began to glow brightly before figures made out of hard light emerged from the battlements.
While enemy soldiers and experts were surprised by the sudden appearance, the captains controlling the figure took the chance to do as much damage as possible.
"Destructive Light Warrior Formation!" the captains yelled, the light figures began to swing their oversized arms to the forces of the Mizalas. Because of the initial surprise, many soldiers were killed, burned by the hard light, or simply smashed to pieces.
As several gigantic light figures began to cause havoc across the battlefield, albeit restrained to the battlements, the experts of Mizalas began flying towards the figures, their aura unleashed to destroy them.
However, the figure remained undeterred even when the experts targeted it, in fact, seemed excited by the prospect. Soon, the experts and figures clashed, which led to the instantaneous defeat of the Mizalas experts.
To the shock of the experts, they were not able to hold their own against the figures, each one possessing strength equal to a Genesis Sea expert. That revelation made them retreat, knowing only death would greet them if they remained close to the figure.
Yet, the ones controlling the figure did not plan on letting anyone escape if they could help it.
"Hahaha! Where do your dogs of Mizalas think you are going?!" one of the captains yelled before creating a spear of energy and throwing it at a Genesis Lake expert, who does immediately from the attack.
A similar situation happened all over the walls, the figures being the closest things to the reaper's death scythe, cutting down the forces of Mizalas Duchy with ease.

"This could not go any longer," the Duke of Mizalas exclaimed, seeing his men being slaughtered by either a formation or a technique did not sit well for him.
If not for the fact his injuries had been healed, albeit only slightly, he would not be watching the battle as the pain had been more agonizing than the current state.
"Send in the Genesis Sea expert,"

"Sir, they have sent the Genesis Sea expert," one of the observers told the High Command, who all nodded at the information.
"Time for phase two?"
"Time for phase two,"

As the Genesis Sea experts began to get closer to the walls, they spotted a group of soldiers running on the walls, heading towards one of the smaller battlements.
They did not care for such insects, their target being the large figure which destroyed their forces with ease. They began to bombard the figure. To their shock, a barrier appeared and blocked their collective attacks, stopping them from destroying the massive figures.
Before they could continue their attacks, several blasts hit them, the attack fast and powerful to the point several of the Genesis Sea experts were injured, three in a dire state, while the rest of the injured either lost a limb or scratched by the attacks.
As they froze from the sudden ambush, the figure took the chance to attack the Genesis Sea experts, throwing several more spears at them, killing all of the dire ones and 2 of the more injured experts, with the rest coming to their senses and fleeing from the battlefield.
Similar things occurred all over the walls, with the enemy losing one Genesis Sea expert at best to the west walls, where they lost a staggering 10 Genesis Sea experts.
The death of so many Genesis Sea experts and the remaining fleeing from the battlefield break the morale of the army, prompting them to run away.
Taking the chance, several blasts of lightning, fire, and light were unleashed at the fleeing enemy forces, their being on the run did not allow them to create a strong enough shield to protect themselves, not to mention even if they all worked together, none of them believe they could conjure a shield strong enough to protect themselves from an attack that could badly injured a Genesis Sea expert.
The routing enemies went back to their camp while the forces of Kilrun celebrated their second consecutive victories, the atmosphere light and cheerful.

"We did it, we were able to survive the second day," the Grand Advisor said, wiping the sweat that was forming on his face.
"We still could not be too excited just yet," the Marshal reminded. "They might have more tricks up their sleeve so we better watch out less they caught us off guard,"
The rest nodded solemnly. They knew they could only react to their enemy's attack, being the one with the disadvantages. This makes them forced to follow their pace, allowing them to dictate the pace of the battle to their desire.
Unfortunately, it is the circumstance that they have to accept. They could only do their best to make everything happen their way. Thankfully, the first two days are going well. They need it to make sure the soldiers can maintain their morale and not desert their posts.
They all sigh, hoping, albeit knowing it is unlikely, that the opponent will not have any new tricks for them.
