Chapter 125 - Young Geniuses Across the Kingdom

Hearing him come to this conclusion took the spy surprised. After all, there could be some other reason why the Tol Family could become stronger without any sign of it. However, they didn't have the right to ask him the question.

Thankfully, someone else could, "Why are you so sure that the Tol Family found a treasure trove? Couldn't they have used all their resources to build up their forces secretly," the Genesis Core expert asked, clearly bewildered by his confident tone.

"The Gurdon Family has some spies in the Tol Family, right?" nodding at the odd question, the Genesis Core gave a look asking for more explanation. One he could give, "Then, have they used or gathered resources in the legitimate or illegitimate ways that were able to support the sudden rise in their strength?"

The Genesis Core expert opened his mouth before closing it, his mind thinking about every single possibility. He could only come to one conclusion, "No," Ryker gave him a smile before continuing.

"They cannot support the rise of their strength even with their businesses in the city or through the bandits they control. The only way they could get enough resources to support their growth would be through some kind of treasure trove or they found some hidden rich-resources area and were able to keep it for themselves.

There also another reason why I believe they found a treasure trove," Ryker said, prompting the Genesis Core expert to look at him inquisitively. "The treasure trove was found by a mayor of a small destroyed town, yet they destroyed the town to hide the secret of the map. I believe they found something connected to the treasure trove.

Maybe they send some bandits to the supposed treasure place, only to find the mayor which leads to a fight. When the bandit reported their findings, the Tol tried to pressure the mayor," Ryker told the likely event that took place.

"Of course, everything I said is just my conjuncture so don't believe it readily," he added. The three other people nodded. They could understand how he came to such a theory, though, as it explained how the Tol Family knew of the treasure trove.

"Young master Ryker, here is the other possible party that likely joined in the exploration," one of the spies gave him a book. Ryker flipped the pages, looking at the possible competitors.

"Is it all or are there any more people that will join in?" he asked, the Gurdon Family member nodding, "Yes, there would be others joining later. In fact, the Kingdom would send some people to, though the one exploring would be in the Genesis Core realm and below,"

"Oh?" he raised his brow, the info clearly new to him, "The kingdom wants to create a competition using the treasure trove. However, with the top strength of the Mariz Barony being at the Genesis Source realm, the kingdom decided to limit the strength of the participants so the Barony could handle the influx of people.

Of course, it's likely that some of the participants would be accompanied by stronger experts. In that case, the Kingdom would also send in their experts to make sure things go somewhat smoothly," Ryker made a quiet humming as he looked at the information.

"I do hope some of them would be able to entertain me. After all, there gotta be powerful young geniuses joining in the fun,"

A young man exited a tent, yawning loudly as he stretched his body. "Rise and shine! We need to pick up the pace if we want to get to the Mariz Barony as quickly as possible," he yelled at his men, who grudgingly woke up.

Normally, one would claim the young man's subordinates are lazy. A quick look at the predicament would show that was far from the case.

"Young master, we still have 2 more weeks before it began, and we could get there in like, three days. There is no need to wake us up before the sun even rises yet," one of his men complained. Being woken up at essentially three in the morning would do that to you.

The young man didn't listen, already packing his stuff. Grumbling to themselves, the servants quickly clean up their campsite. Surprisingly, there are several Genesis Core experts with him, along with a Genesis Source expert watching over the group.

As for the reason they didn't fly, the young man wished to train himself, forcing his people to walk towards their destination.

A young lady casually slashes at a training post, cutting it to several pieces before sheathing her swords. One of her maidservants walked towards her, bringing her wet clothes as well as some refreshments.

"My lady, I knew you wished to prepare for the exploration of the inheritance of the Sovereign experts but you need to relax after all the training you did," the oldest maidservant and the closest thing the young lady had as an older sister chastised her, making her lowered her head, not wanting to hear another lengthy nagged.

Unfortunately, that was what she got as the other woman lectured her some more.

A handsome young man looked at the piece of paper before throwing it into the fire. "An exploration in a desolate area. Truly something unbecoming of me. Yet, the inheritance or at least the treasure belonging to a Sovereign is not something to be scoffed at.

I will join in the fun. May as well grace the peasant of that place with my presence," he said, earning admiring swooning and squealing from his female admirers.

  "Young master is so generous,"

"The plebians in that place better appreciate young master coming to their place,"

"Young master, this servant of yours wants you to grace her as well,"

The young man smiled lasciviously, before putting his arms around two of the women, making them squeal in delight. The other women followed after him into a room, before they began having a lovemaking session.

-x-

A young man in a regal purple robe looked at the information with a frown.

"So, the truth is the inheritance belongs to an Earth Source realm expert. But to avoid the others from trying to claim it, they said the place belonged to a Sovereign realm expert or a Saint realm expert," the young man summarized as he was in deep thought.

"Yes, the powers in the Mariz Barony decide to hide the true nature and only tell the royal family," a servant told the young man, who slightly nodded.

"Very well then, I would join in as well," the servant looked shocked and tried to dissuade the young man but he took some piece of clothing.

"Which one would help me blend in better?"
