Chapter 88 - A New House

Ryker went outside the real estate office, to see his lovers and Mashia being harrassed by a bunch of guys.

"We will take good care of you ladies,"

"Your man can't compare to us. We show what real men are like,"

"I bet if your men see us, he would run away, crying,"

Ryker took a deep breath before looking at the Hal Family's people, smiling as he said, "If I beat those fools, will the Hal Family stop them from doing anything,"

The Hal Family member was too afraid to say anything, the terrifying aura from Ryker sending his fight-and-flight instinct haywire, except all of it screaming for him to run away as fast as he could. He could only nod, hoping it would appease the young man.

"Say my thanks to the patriarch," Ryker said, before heading towards the group of men. In the span of 10 seconds, several craters were formed, courtesy of idiot meteors hitting the ground.

"I'm glad I have the Hal Family at my corner," Ryker exclaimed, having been asked some questions by the guard. Normally, he would be detained but with most witnesses claiming the thugs started it, and the Hal Family's member giving his word, the thugs were the ones sent.

When the thugs tried to claim he harmed them, the guard merely pointed at Ryker, who released his cultivation at the Genesis Foundation, making all of them pale in fright, for they have tried to force the women of an expert that could kill them with a slap.

Currently, they were heading towards their new house, the children looked excited at the new sight. As usual, the Hal Family's member was enamored by Ariana, who hugged the man when her eldest brother allowed it.

The man could only pat the small child, who beamed a smile that could make powerful forces wage war, just so they could adopt her! Truly, she is the strongest among the siblings.

The guide had taken a seat on the carriage, pointing in the direction of the house. Considering the distance between the office and the house, it took nearly 2 hours of navigating through the streets for them to arrive at the house.

"Here it is, I'm hoping you enjoy your brand new home," the guide said, extending his hand and opening his palm as he said it.

Ryker knew what he was asking for, so he put a gold coin in his palm, the guide thanking him before going on his way.

"Most people would give silver coins, you know," the Hal Family's member said, Ryker shrugging, showing he doesn't really care.

The man sighs. He doesn't know what the young man's relationship with their Hal Family but the patriarch clearly considers him special. As for what makes him special, he could only guess unless the patriarch told it to him.

"I will take my leave," the man said, patting Ariana's head and walking away.

Ryker looked at their home for the next 8 to 12 weeks with a smile, "Let's check out the place,"

The description of the place, besides the fact it was the largest house in the entire lot, didn't do much justice. That was the collective thought of the adults, who were surprised by the size of their new abode.

Despite the fact that Hidden Ancient Mansion is much bigger, it was a spatial tool so in a way, it didn't really count as the biggest house. Ryker looked around, spotting contraptions he had never seen before.

He flicked the 'thing', only to see the light being turned on. Surprised by the light being on, he flicked it again, the light turning off. Before he could do anything else, Ilina brought to him a small book.

"I think this is the manual for all the things in the house, big brother," she said, Ryker saying a quick thanks before reading it.

When he went to the living room, he saw every adult reading their manual, clearly trying to learn about their new home as best as they could. He sat on one of the couches, reading the manual as the day went on.

By the time they finished their manuals, the sky had already turned dark. Thankfully, they knew how to turn on the light, illuminating the room. While they opened every light in the house, Ina shut the curtain, not wanting anyone to peek into their home.

While it was already dark, they still didn't know the layout of the place, trying to figure out what each contraption could do. Thankfully, the manuals also have a map of their new house so they use it to navigate through it.

Which is a good thing for the house is big enough that one could get lost in it. Case in point, "Big brother! Where are you?!" Fenrir yelled, having disappeared during his exploration of their new home.

Thankfully, they were able to find him. The accident made all of the children stay close to any of the adults, not wanting to suffer the same fate as their siblings. Still, it will make an entertaining story for everyone except for Fenrir.

They visited every one of the rooms, an endeavor which took half an hour. Thankfully, all of them had eaten earlier, stopping at a nearby cafe at the behest of one of the children. In hindsight, it was a great love as no children complained of being hungry.

Still, visiting every room had taken a toll, the children yawning, barely able to walk. Ariana was already knocked out, sleeping in her eldest brother's arms. Ryker smiled, gently pushing them to different bedrooms. He split them into 6 groups, the bed thankfully enough to fit at least 3 small children.

"Maybe we could buy more beds," Ina mused, the others agreeing to it. Let's put them to sleep and we can put Ariana to sleep with Ilina," Ryker said, Era looking at him with a raised brow.

"You don't want her to sleep with you?" she asked, the other woman looking at him now.

"Yes, because I want Mashia to tell the truth, whether she wants our relationship to go further. If not, then we would remain as friends," he answered, making the women look at the blushing dragon princess.

"Tonight?" she asked, hoping to postpone it.

"Yes," Was Ryker's swift answer before he went to Ilina's bedroom to put a small girl in a cozy bed.

Mashia gulped, knowing tonight would be the only chance she had if she wanted to progress things further. In her heart, she knew if she continued to deny her feelings, she would regret it.

She let out a sigh, a determined expression on her face.
